HURST, TEXAS
Residential Christmas Light Installation in Hurst, TX
Hurst nearly tripled in size during the 1960s, and many of its houses still carry that era's low, friendly profile, while new luxury homes are rising north of Little Bear Creek. We plan your display, lease the LED, install it, service it and remove it after the holidays.
✓ Classic ranches and new builds ✓ Leased lights, no storage bins ✓ 4.5-star Google reviews

Hurst's 1960s Boom and the Homes It Left Behind
Hurst grew from about 10,000 residents in 1960 to more than 27,000 by 1970, the fastest jump in its history, and much of the city's housing dates from that boom and the decades just after. Older additions such as Hurst Terrace, Walker Oaks and Mason Park have the traditional lots of that period, and shade trees planted then have had decades to grow. Later infill in North Hurst added two-stories from the late 1990s and early 2000s, some on large, treed lots near parks such as Rickel Park.
The newest chapter sits just north of Little Bear Creek near Precinct Line Road and Glade Road, where Toll Brothers has delivered Adkins Park, a community of one- and two-story homes of roughly 3,100 to more than 4,900 square feet. A 1960s ranch and an Adkins Park two-story need opposite approaches: the ranch looks finished with one long eave line and lit trees, while the larger new homes, with more roof planes and bigger entries, suit traced peaks and garland around the door.

Hurst Neighborhoods We Light
Hurst is compact, but its neighborhoods range from 1960s ranch streets to new construction. Homeowners next door can read about Christmas lights for Euless homes and residential lighting in Bedford.
Hurst Terrace
An established addition with streets such as Myrtle Drive. On homes with long single-story fronts, a clean eave line, lit foundation shrubs and a wrapped front tree give a balanced look.
Billy Creek Estates
A residential area with cul-de-sacs such as Sean Court. Homes that share a court are seen together, so neighbors often coordinate warm white or a common color to make the whole street glow.
Adkins Park
New Toll Brothers homes just north of Little Bear Creek near Precinct Line Road, close to the Cotton Belt Trail. Larger one- and two-story plans suit traced peaks, lit columns and a full front outline. For path and tree lighting that stays up all year, see our Hurst landscape lighting.
Walker Oaks and Mason Park
Neighborhoods along streets like Walker Drive and Norwood Drive. Where big trees shade the front, lighting the trunk and lower limbs adds height that a low roofline cannot.
North Hurst and Rickel Park area
Homes built in the late 1990s and early 2000s, some on large, treed lots near Rickel Park. Two-story fronts take a full outline on the street-facing gables, plus wreaths on upper windows.
Mature Trees, Mid-Cities Traffic and Simple Rules
Together with Euless and Bedford, Hurst forms the Mid-Cities trio locals call HEB, and North East Mall makes the city a holiday shopping stop for much of Tarrant County. That traffic means your street may see more cars in December than you expect, and a tidy, well-lit front shows well to all of it.
The bigger design factor in older Hurst neighborhoods is trees. Shade trees planted when these streets were new now hang over many roofs and front yards, so we check limb clearance over the eaves and keep runs clear of overhead service lines. Many established streets have no HOA, while newer communities such as Adkins Park may have guidelines on holiday displays; we follow any rules you share, and associations can read our HOA holiday lighting overview for entrance work.

What Determines a Hurst Quote
We measure your home and quote only what you choose to light.
Feet of eave and gable
Single-story fronts are short runs. Two-story homes with several gables and a garage wing add footage.
Color and bulbs
Warm white, cool white or multicolor, and large or small bulbs, each change the strands we cut.
Height and access
Two-story walls and steeper new-build roofs require more rigging and time than a 1960s ranch eave.
Add-ons
Wreaths, entry garland and lit walkway markers are listed one by one so you can choose freely.
Tree size
Older Hurst trees can be very large, and wrapping a big trunk and its limbs takes many more strands than a young tree.

Hurst Holiday Lighting Questions
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Do you install Christmas lights on homes in Hurst?
–
Yes. We install on houses in both Hurst ZIP codes, 76053 and 76054, from Hurst Terrace and Billy Creek Estates to North Hurst and Adkins Park. For retail and association work around North East Mall and the city's entrances, see our Hurst Christmas lighting page.
Do I need to purchase the lights, or should I go permanent?
–
Seasonal lights are leased, so you never purchase or store them. If you want a permanent track system that stays on the house and changes colors for other holidays, read about our permanent lighting in the Hurst area. Many ranch-home owners stick with seasonal lighting because nothing stays mounted.
When is the right time to book in Hurst?
–
Late summer to early fall is ideal. Installs typically begin in early November, and the calendar fills from the earliest requests, so calling by October helps you land a preferred date.
When do the lights get removed?
–
We return after the holidays, generally in early January, to take everything down. The display is labeled and stored at our facility until next season.
Do I need HOA approval for lights in Hurst?
–
Many older Hurst streets have no HOA, so approval is rarely an issue there. Newer communities may have guidelines on timing or placement; send them over and we will follow them. Our residential Christmas lighting service page explains how a season works.
Can lights damage older shingles or gutters?
–
We use clips that hold onto gutter lips, shingle edges and ridges without nails or staples. On older roofs, the crew checks for brittle shingles or loose gutters and avoids any spot that would not hold safely.
How do outlets and timers work for my house?
–
We plug into your existing outdoor outlets and set timers for the hours you want. Homes from the 1960s often have limited exterior outlets, so we plan the runs around them and tell you if an outlet needs repair.
Can you work around big trees that hang over my roof?
–
Yes. We check limb clearance during the design visit, route lights where branches will not rub them, and often light the tree itself instead of the hidden section of roofline behind it.
