Car Dealership Christmas Lighting in Dallas-Fort Worth

Christmas Decor by Carruthers Decorative Lighting designs and installs holiday lighting and decor for car dealerships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We light the building outline, the entry canopy, the frontage and lot trees, and decorate the showroom and customer lounge. The lighting and decor are leased, installed around your hours, maintained through the season and removed in January.

A dealership is lit to be seen from the road. Most stores sit on a freeway frontage or a dealer row, next to competitors chasing the same drivers during the biggest selling weeks of the year. A clean, bright building outline and lit frontage make the store easier to find after dark, and a decorated showroom gives year-end sales events a setting that feels like an occasion.

Dealerships also come with constraints other commercial properties do not have. Manufacturer image programs govern what goes on the building. Lots are tight and inventory moves daily. Customers and service traffic arrive from open to close. We plan for all of that at the first site walk.

How We Design and Install a Dealership Holiday Display

The design starts at the frontage road. We look at the store the way a driver does, from the main lanes and the frontage, and decide which lines carry the display: the fascia and roofline, the entry portal or canopy, and the trees or light poles along the frontage. Those elements get the brightest, cleanest treatment because they do the work of getting the store noticed.

The building comes next. Rooflines and fascia are outlined with commercial-grade LED lighting cut to fit, so runs end where the building ends, with no loose tails. Entry canopies and columns are trimmed, and wreaths or garland mark the customer entrance and the service drive. We keep lighting clear of signage, brand elements, cameras and vehicle paths.

Trees and lot features fill in the frontage. Frontage and island trees are trunk-wrapped or canopy-lit. Where a lot has few trees, pole-mounted decor, lit ground displays or a large commercial tree near the road can do the same job. Oversized ornaments work well beside featured vehicles.

The showroom gets the same look inside. We supply pre-lit and pre-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and oversized ornaments for showrooms, lounges and delivery areas, sized to the space and placed where they do not block vehicles or sight lines to the desks.

App-controlled lighting is an option for stores that run promotions. Twinkly Pro lighting can change color and pattern from an app, so a store can run brand colors for a sales event and switch to a traditional look afterward.

Installation is scheduled around the business. We work early mornings or slower weekdays, keep the lot, the service lanes and the delivery area open, and most building and tree lighting can be installed without moving inventory. General managers and dealer groups receive a written proposal with a design map before anything is scheduled, and a certificate of insurance on request. Carruthers carries liability insurance and workers' compensation.

Dealer groups get one team for every rooftop. We serve the whole metroplex from our shop in northwest Dallas, so a group with several stores can have each one walked, designed and installed with a consistent look and a single point of contact.

Service and removal are included. If part of the display goes dark, call 972-620-9560 and the repair is usually completed within 24 to 48 hours. Takedown begins in early January, and the lighting and decor go into our climate-controlled storage until next season.

Book in late summer or early fall. That leaves time for the site walk, any brand or facility approvals, and an installation date before Black Friday and year-end sales events begin.

Car Dealership Holiday Lighting FAQs

Can you install without disrupting sales or service?

Yes. We schedule installation for early mornings or slower weekdays and keep the lot, service lanes and delivery area open. Most building and tree lighting can be installed without moving inventory.

Do you decorate showrooms as well as exteriors?

Yes. We supply pre-lit and pre-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and oversized ornaments for showrooms, customer lounges and delivery areas, and install them along with the exterior lighting.

Can you handle several stores in one dealer group?

Yes. We serve the whole Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, so every rooftop in a group can be walked, designed and installed by one team with a consistent look and a single point of contact. Each store receives its own written proposal and design map.

Can the lighting change color for a sales event?

Yes, with Twinkly Pro app-controlled lighting. It lets a store change colors and effects from an app during the season. It can be combined with standard commercial-grade LED outlining, and we show both on the design map.

When should a dealership book holiday lighting?

Late summer or early fall is best. That allows time for the site walk, any brand or facility approvals and an installation date before Black Friday. Later requests are sometimes possible, but installation dates fill from early autumn.
