What We Handle in Hurst

Design, hardware, install and setup, done by one insured crew.

01

Designed around mature trees

Mature oaks and pecans hide parts of many Hurst rooflines. We check sightlines from the street before designing, so you light the edges people will actually see.

04

App paired before we go

We pair the PermaLites 365 app with your controller and build starter scenes with you, including a warm white you can run every evening. Sharing access with family is easy.

02

Matched channel finish

The track is chosen to match your fascia. On brick homes with painted trim, it blends into the edge of the roof and stays out of sight by day.

05

Flexible zones that grow

Front, back and garage can be lit together or separately, each with its own color and timer. Add zones later if your plans grow. Planning spare capacity helps.

03

Controller in a safe spot

We mount the controller near power in a protected location and route wiring cleanly along the eave, keeping gutters and walkways clear. Service access stays simple for later visits.

06

Real office support line

Call 972-620-9560, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with questions or to request service on the system we installed. A real person answers, and we route your request straight to the crew who did the work.

Permanent blue roofline lighting on a two-story home at night

A Modern Glow on Classic Mid-Century Homes

Many Hurst neighborhoods were built in the 1960s and 1970s, with low, wide rooflines and brick fronts. A slim line of warm white along those eaves updates the look of the house after dark without changing its character.

Permanent lighting suits these homes in a practical way too. Low, straight eaves mean efficient installs, and the channel tucks neatly under the overhang. Once it is up, December color is a tap in the app instead of a weekend on the ladder.

  • Wide, low rooflines suit one continuous run

  • Warm white flatters brick and stone

  • Efficient installs on single-story homes

  • Holiday color without a ladder weekend

Our Hurst Install Process

01

Start the conversation

Tell us your address and what you want lit. We set a visit and ask how often you expect to use color.

02

Check sightlines

We measure each edge, confirm trim color and power, and look at the house from the curb to see where trees block the view.

03

Plan and price

You get a layout of runs and zones with a quote built from measured footage. We adjust until it fits your goals.

04

Install and test

The crew installs channel and LEDs, connects the controller and tests every zone before leaving the property. We clean up too.

05

Set your scenes

We program holiday scenes and a nightly schedule, then show you how to make changes on your own.

Hurst Areas We Plan Lighting For

Hurst sits in the heart of the HEB Mid-Cities, between Euless, Bedford, North Richland Hills and Richland Hills. I-820, SH-183 and SH-121 meet here, so our crews reach Hurst easily.

North East Mall area

Retail and restaurants near the mall and along Precinct Line Road see constant evening traffic. A permanent outline in brand color keeps a building visible after dark, and a holiday scene can take over automatically for the shopping season. Late dimming saves energy.

Tree-lined neighborhoods

Older streets with mature canopy can hide much of a roofline. We walk the curb first and focus light on the edges that show, often the front gable and garage, saving channel that would only glow into branches. That walk keeps costs focused.

Near TCC Northeast

Homes and businesses near the Tarrant County College Northeast campus area along Campus Drive can use permanent lighting for welcoming entries and graduation-season colors, with schedules that run without anyone touching the app. Business owners there also like clean brand color on weeknights.

Pipeline Road corridor

Offices, clinics and shops along Pipeline Road benefit from a cared-for look at night. Permanent edge lighting runs on a schedule that follows business hours, and we provide certificates of insurance for property managers. Clinic entries are easier for evening patients to find.

Bell Blue Raider Fridays

L.D. Bell High School football is a big part of fall in Hurst. Save a blue and white scene, schedule it for home games and let the house return to warm white the next morning. Basketball season can use the same saved scene.

Choosing Between Permanent and Seasonal

We install both, which lets us be candid. Our seasonal holiday program in Hurst is for businesses, HOA entrances, dealerships and municipal properties: custom design, leased commercial-grade lights, in-season service, removal and storage. Hurst homes are served with permanent lighting.

For a business, seasonal makes sense when the goal is a single big December display. Permanent makes sense when you want visible, on-brand edges all year and holiday color on a schedule.

  • Seasonal suits one-season commercial displays

  • Permanent suits homes and all-year branding

  • Permanent ends yearly install and removal visits

  • Seasonal includes in-season service calls

  • We help you pick, or combine both

What Affects Cost in Hurst

These are the inputs we use to build your quote.

Length of roofline

The more feet you light, the more channel and LED the job needs. Lighting only the visible front and garage keeps the footprint smaller on tree-covered lots.

Zone layout

One zone is the base setup. More zones add controller capacity and wiring, and let each side of the house run its own color and timer.

Story count and pitch

Single-story homes are faster to install. Second-story sections and steep pitches need more staging, safety equipment and crew time. We note every height during the site visit, so the quote reflects your home.

Outlet placement

A nearby exterior outlet keeps the install simple. If power has to be routed farther, that work becomes part of the plan. We flag it early so you can decide.

Roofline shape

Gables, hips and bump-outs each add corners and fittings. A long straight ranch eave is simplest and quickest to finish cleanly. We count fittings at the visit so nothing is guessed.

Questions From Hurst Homeowners

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Will trees block my lights?

–

Sometimes. Mature trees are common in Hurst, so we check sightlines from the street before designing. We focus runs on visible edges and skip sections that would only light up branches, which saves material and looks better. Winter views can change once leaves drop.

Can I see the track during the day?

–

Very little. We match the channel to your trim and mount it under the roof edge. On brick homes with painted fascia, it blends in and only stands out once the lights are on. We bring samples to compare colors at the visit.

Can I set different colors for every holiday?

–

Yes. Save scenes for Christmas, Valentine's Day, the Fourth of July, Halloween and anything else. Schedules can switch scenes automatically on the dates you pick, so you set it up once for the whole year. Birthdays and anniversaries can get scenes too.

Will it survive hail and summer heat?

–

North Texas brings 100-degree days, spring hail and the occasional ice storm. The channel sits sheltered under the eave, and we seal connections and route wiring with that in mind. If storm damage happens, call our office for a service visit.

Does installation affect my roof?

–

The channel fastens to the fascia below the roof edge, not through your shingles, and wiring stays out of gutters. If you plan to reroof, call us first so we can remove and reinstall the affected runs. Gutters keep draining normally.

Is it more efficient than old Christmas bulbs?

–

Yes. LEDs draw a small fraction of the power of incandescent strands, and schedules keep them from running all night by accident. You can also dim the lights for a softer look and lower use. Warm white at partial brightness is a popular everyday setting.

Why go permanent instead of having seasonal lights installed?

–

Seasonal means two visits a year and lights for one holiday. Permanent means one install and light for every occasion. In Hurst our seasonal service is for commercial properties, so homes here are served with permanent lighting. No storage bins in the garage either.

Do you light businesses near North East Mall?

–

Yes. We install permanent lighting on retail, restaurants and offices, program brand colors and holiday scenes, and schedule work around business hours. Certificates of insurance are available for landlords and property managers. Brand colors can run through the year, then switch to holiday scenes for the shopping season.

How soon should I book for the holidays?

–

Fall is the busiest time for lighting crews. For lights running by Thanksgiving, contact us in late summer or early fall so there is time for the site visit, layout review and install. Earlier requests get more choice of install dates.
