Everything in one NRH contract

No purchase, no storage, no scramble in January.

01

A plan for each district

HomeTown's canals, City Point's new storefronts and a dealership on the loop each call for a different look. The design starts from how people see your property after dark.

04

Coverage on file

Crews work under liability insurance and workers' compensation. Boards and property managers can receive a certificate of insurance for their files before the install date is set.

02

Lighting you never own

The commercial-grade LED product is leased for the season, so there is no capital purchase, no warehouse shelf and no worn-out strands to replace next fall.

05

Service when it counts

If something stops working during the season, call the office. Maintenance and service calls come with the program, not as a separate charge you have to approve.

03

Measured to the inch

Runs are cut to your rooflines, bridges, gazebos and columns, so ends finish cleanly and the display holds a straight, even line from one corner to the next.

06

Cleared out after

After the holidays, crews take the display down and return it to storage. The same fitted lighting is ready for your property again next season.

The Northeast Loop 820 auto corridor

Franchise dealerships stand close together on Northeast Loop 820, with more along Boulevard 26. Shoppers compare stores from the freeway, so a lit showroom can be the one that gets noticed during year-end sales.

We design dealership lighting to read from both the main lanes and the frontage road. Rooflines, canopies, entry trees and a tall commercial tree or oversized ornament near the customer door are the usual building blocks. Installs are planned around sales and service hours.

  • Showroom roofline and glass-front outlines

  • Service drive and canopy lighting

  • Tall commercial tree by the entrance

  • Oversized ornaments for photos

  • One plan for multi-store dealer groups

01

First contact

Reach us at 972-620-9560 or through the online form. Share the address, property type and when you want the lights on.

02

On-site survey

We measure what can be lit, from clubhouse eaves to footbridges and pond edges, and locate power and access points.

03

Design for approval

A written proposal and design map go to you. Boards can drop it straight into a meeting packet and vote on a defined scope.

04

Installation day

Insured crews install the leased lighting on the agreed date, working around amenity hours and keeping business entrances open.

05

Upkeep and takedown

We handle service calls through the season, then remove and store every piece once the holidays are over.

Across North Richland Hills

The city organized its growth around named districts, and each one has its own scale, architecture and audience.

HomeTown

A planned neighborhood with fishing ponds, parks, walking paths and a Canal District. Association lighting here can follow pond edges and footbridges, light gazebos and greens, and frame the clubhouse, so the neighborhood's ponds and canals read clearly on December evenings.

Iron Horse and Smithfield

The transit-oriented areas around the city's rail stations mix housing, retail and offices. Properties here suit warm white outlines, wreaths and garland at entries, scaled for people arriving on foot or by train as much as by car. Lighting near station areas stays clear of walkways.

Emerald Lakes and Diamond Loch

Established association communities with entry monuments, greens and shared spaces. Boards often light the main entry and the trees beside it first, then add medians or amenity rooflines once residents have seen a season. Diamond Loch and Emerald Lakes can each keep one consistent look.

City Point

A newer district with shops, restaurants and offices. Lit storefront outlines, wrapped trees along the walks and a commercial Christmas tree at a central gathering point give tenants, shoppers and diners a reason to linger on cold evenings. Installs are timed around opening hours.

NRH2O and NYTEX area

The family water park and the NYTEX Sports Centre make the city a regional stop for families. Nearby restaurants and retail can use the extra traffic, and venue-style lighting at the entrance helps a property stand out from its neighbors during the busy holiday weeks.

Built for boards and managers

Most association decisions in North Richland Hills are made by a board with a budget and a deadline. We make that easy: a site walk, a written proposal, a design map and a certificate of insurance, all before anyone signs.

Lighting stays on common areas. Because it is leased, the association has no inventory to store and nothing to replace. Communities such as Brandonwood and Forest Glen West can start small and grow the design year by year.

  • Entry monuments and signs

  • Pond edges, bridges and gazebos

  • Clubhouse and pool building rooflines

  • Boulevard trees and medians

  • Design map for the board packet

What decides the cost

We price from the site walk, and these items carry the most weight.

Total linear feet

How much roofline, fence, bridge rail and canopy gets lit is the biggest driver. A loop dealership and a small office differ a lot.

Added decor

Commercial trees, oversized ornaments, wreaths and garland are priced in addition to lighting. One statement piece often does a lot.

Trees and canopies

Every wrapped trunk and lit canopy is measured. Tall mature trees by a pond take more product than young trees along a parking row.

Multiple entrances

Several gates or properties on one plan share scheduling and design, so every location looks consistent all season.

Reach and access

High facades, steep roofs and features over water may need lifts or extra setup, which adds crew time to the install.

North Richland Hills lighting questions

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Will you put Christmas lights on my house in North Richland Hills?

–

No. In North Richland Hills we light HOA common areas, commercial properties, car dealerships and municipal sites. Residential holiday lighting is available only in Plano, Frisco, Allen and Richardson. Residents of HomeTown or Emerald Lakes can refer their association board to us for entrances and amenities.

When should a board approve a plan to be lit for the city tree lighting?

–

Early fall is the safe window. North Richland Hills holds its Christmas tree lighting as the season opens, and boards that sign a proposal in September or October can usually be installed before then. Later decisions may land on a later install date.

Can you light the ponds and footbridges in HomeTown?

–

Yes, where the association controls them. Footbridge rails, gazebos, pond-edge trees and the clubhouse can all be fitted with leased LED lighting. We check power access and safe working positions during the site walk and show each feature on the design map.

Do you work with dealer groups that have several stores on Loop 820?

–

Yes. A dealer group can have each rooftop lit on one plan, with consistent colors and a shared install schedule. Each store still gets a design suited to its building, frontage and sign layout, and installs are timed around sales and service hours.

What is included in the price?

–

The custom design, leased commercial-grade LED lighting cut to the property, installation by insured crews, in-season maintenance and service calls, removal after the holidays and storage until next season. Decor such as commercial trees, wreaths and garland can be added to the lighting plan.

Can you light a restaurant or shop in City Point?

–

Yes. Storefront outlines, wreaths on doors, garland at entries and wrapped trees along the walk suit City Point's newer buildings. Where a center has a shared gathering spot, a commercial Christmas tree can anchor the display for the whole property.

How do I get a certificate of insurance?

–

Ask when you request a proposal. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we can send a certificate of insurance to the property manager, association or ownership group before installation is scheduled. Most boards keep it on file with the signed proposal.

Who is Carruthers Decorative Lighting?

–

We are a Christmas Decor franchise based on Goodnight Lane in Dallas. Our parent company, Carruthers Landscape Management, is a Dallas family business founded in 1978 by Ben Carruthers, and we have lit commercial and large residential properties for over five years.

Do you also offer lighting that stays up all year?

–

Yes. Beyond seasonal Christmas lighting, we install PermaLites 365 app-controlled permanent lighting, landscape lighting, bistro and string lighting, and special event lighting. Ask about any of these when we visit for the holiday site walk, and we can plan them alongside your Christmas display.
