ARGYLE, TEXAS

Special Event Lighting in Argyle, TX

Argyle events tend to happen on open land: barns, pastures, long drives and big oak trees. That kind of setting needs light planned across a lot of ground, and that is the work we do.

QUICK ANSWER

Special event lighting in Argyle is mostly outdoor work: string canopies over barn rafters and lawns, lit trees, entrance and drive lighting, and path light between parking and the party. Christmas Decor by Carruthers Decorative Lighting walks the property, plans power and anchor points, installs on schedule and removes it all once the event is over.

Lighting for Open-Air Argyle Events

Country settings need more planning than a ballroom; these are the pieces we use.

01

Ceremony aisle and arbor

Soft light over the aisle, arbor or altar keeps vows clear in photos after sunset. Fixtures are tucked out of sightlines so guests watch the couple, not the hardware.

04

Church and school events

Fall festivals, fundraisers and outdoor services need light that is simple and easy to move through. We focus on walkways, gathering areas and a few anchor trees.

02

Brand and palette colors

Uplighting and accent colors can follow a logo, school colors or a wedding palette. We confirm every color before install day so nothing surprises you when the lights come on.

05

Milestone and retirement parties

Big birthdays, retirements and anniversaries at home or a rented space. We keep the design warm and simple, centered on where people will gather and talk.

03

Company holiday parties

December events can borrow from our Christmas work: lit trees, wreaths and garland alongside string lighting and uplighting for a room that feels seasonal without clutter.

06

Dance floor glow

The dance floor should feel like the center of the night. A denser canopy of strands overhead and warm color on nearby walls pull guests in once dinner wraps up.

Acreage, Barns and Long Drives

On acreage, the event is often a long walk from the house and the nearest outlet. We check power during the site visit, plan runs that stay out of the way and decide where the light matters most: the barn, the dinner lawn and the path guests take in the dark.

Big trees are an asset here. A lit live oak near the barn makes a better backdrop than anything we could bring in. Our parent company's landscape background means crews know how to light old trees without harming them.

  • Barn rafters strung for dinner and dancing

  • Mature trees lit as photo backdrops

  • Lit drives and gates for arriving guests

  • Power planned before install day

  • Careful work around old trees and pasture

How We Plan an Argyle Event

01

Share your date

Tell us the event date, the venue address and what kind of night you are planning. We confirm crew availability before anything else.

02

Venue walk-through

A walk-through with you, your planner or the venue coordinator confirms load-in rules, power locations and where guests will spend the evening.

03

Design and proposal

You receive a lighting plan by zone with the scope, schedule and factors that shaped it, so you can adjust before anything is booked.

04

Install on schedule

Our crew arrives at the agreed time, installs and tests every zone, and tidies cables so guests and photographers see light, not wires.

05

Clean strike

Strands, fixtures and cable come down and leave with us. The space is returned the way we found it, with no hardware left behind.

Argyle Places We Plan For

Argyle mixes new master-planned neighborhoods with horse properties and rural roads. Each needs a different approach.

Harvest

This master-planned community has newer homes, shared green spaces and an active events calendar. Backyard parties here usually need patio canopies and path lighting rather than big tree work, since many trees are still young. Lit entries and walkway light also help guests find the right house on streets that look alike after dark.

Horse and acreage properties

Pastures, arenas and barns on larger lots make memorable settings for weddings and milestone parties. Long cable runs and wide spans are common, so the site visit carries extra weight here. We confirm where animals, gates and equipment will be on event day so the layout stays safe for everyone.

FM 407 corridor

The main road through Argyle connects older acreage, churches and businesses. Events along it often sit back from the road, so lit entrances and drives help guests find the right gate after dark. We also light the area around parking so guests can walk from their cars without searching for footing.

School and church events

Fall festivals, fundraisers and senior celebrations for Argyle-area schools and churches often run outdoors. We keep these designs practical: light where people gather, walk and line up for food. Volunteers appreciate a simple plan, and we schedule removal so the grounds are clear for the next school or church day.

Light It for the Night, Keep It for the Patio

Most event lighting comes down the next day. Some of it does not have to. If string lighting over your patio or backyard looked right for a wedding, graduation or anniversary party, we can plan a permanent bistro install that keeps that look for summer evenings.

We also install permanent, landscape and holiday lighting, so one team can carry a single idea from the party to every season. Ask about it during the design so the layout works both ways.

  • Event layout planned for permanent use

  • Bistro lighting for patios and pergolas

  • Landscape lighting for trees and paths

  • Holiday lighting from the same team

  • One contact for every season

What Drives Cost on Rural Sites

Open land changes the math; these are the factors we size.

Power near the lit area

Outlets close to the lit area save time. When power sits far from where the lights hang, longer runs and extra planning add to the scope of the job.

Rain plan locations

Events with a backup location may need lighting designed for two spaces, or a quick shift from lawn to tent. Planning both adds design time but protects the night.

Tall trees and high beams

Wrapping trunks, lighting high canopies or reaching tall venue beams takes lift or extended ladder work, which adds labor and setup time compared with low patio strands.

Number of trees

Each tree wrapped or lit adds time and product. A few well-chosen trees near the main gathering area often deliver more impact than lighting every one.

Length of the event

A single evening, a weekend festival and a week-long activation each change scheduling, how long the lighting stays on site and whether service visits are needed.

Argyle Event Lighting FAQ

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Can you light a barn wedding on acreage in Argyle?

–

Yes. Barns and acreage are well suited to string canopies across the rafters, lit trees and drive lighting. The site visit matters most on rural land, because we need to plan power, cable runs and anchor points before the design is final.

Do you work within our venue's rules?

–

Yes. We ask for the venue's load-in times, attachment rules and access details before we design. The plan is built around those limits, and our crew follows the venue coordinator's direction on event day. If the venue needs a certificate of insurance, we provide one.

What if it rains on event day in Argyle?

–

We talk through your rain plan during the design. If the event moves into a tent or indoors, we can plan lighting for that space too. If storms are forecast for install day, we coordinate timing with you and the venue so the crew can work safely.

Can lighting match our wedding colors or brand?

–

Yes. Uplighting and accent lighting can follow a wedding palette, school colors or a company brand. We confirm colors with you before install day, and warm white string lighting pairs with almost any palette if you want the overhead light kept classic.

How is the price of event lighting determined?

–

Pricing depends on the size of the space, the number of lit zones, tree and ceiling work, power access, color requests and the install and teardown windows. After the site visit, you receive a proposal based on your actual venue rather than a generic package.

Will someone from your team visit the site?

–

Yes. A site visit is how we measure spans, find power, check trees and understand access. It also gives you, your planner or the venue coordinator a chance to walk the space with us and point out exactly what you want lit.

Can you light a backyard party or graduation at home?

–

Yes. Event lighting is available for homes across Dallas-Fort Worth, from graduation parties to anniversary dinners. We hang strands over the patio or lawn, light a few trees and add soft light along the walkways, then remove it on your schedule.

Can you light an indoor venue as well as outdoor spaces?

–

Yes. Indoors, we add uplighting on walls and columns and lit trees or greenery. Outdoors, we hang string canopies and light trees and paths. Many events use both, and we plan them together so the look carries from inside to out.

Can you light a rehearsal dinner and the wedding?

–

Yes. Many couples light the rehearsal dinner on a patio or terrace and the wedding venue the next day. We can schedule both installs and teardowns so each venue gets its lighting on time and each space is cleared after.
