How Argyle Properties Use It
Bigger properties mean more ways to put a permanent system to work.
01
December on demand
Pick a holiday preset and the roofline is ready the same evening. There are no bulbs to replace, no clips to buy and no cold weekend spent on the roof each November.
04
Family celebrations
Pink or blue for a new arrival, school colors for a graduate, or a custom mix for a party on the patio. Save each one and reuse it year after year.
02
Light the long drive home
A white outline on the house and garage gives you a clear landmark coming up a long, dark driveway, and it runs on a dusk timer every night without anyone flipping a switch.
05
Barn and shop zones
Detached barns, shops and guest houses can run their own scene on their own schedule, or join the main house for a single holiday look that reads across the whole property.
03
Red, white and blue
Set a patriotic scene for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Veterans Day, and let the schedule handle the timing. It turns on at dusk and off whenever you choose.
06
Every holiday you keep
Easter pastels, Diwali gold, Lunar New Year red, Hanukkah blue and white: any color you choose can be saved as a scene and scheduled for the dates that matter to your family.

Zones for the House, Garage and Outbuildings
Argyle homes tend to sit on larger lots with long, layered rooflines, porches and detached buildings. Lighting all of it as one string ignores how the property is actually used.
We plan separate zones. The main house can show warm white every night while the barn stays dark, then everything turns red and green together in December. We look at the property from the road during the design visit, because on acreage that is the view most people see.
Independent zones for each building
Design checked from the road and drive
Power planning for detached structures
Track matched to stone, wood or metal trim
Long runs laid out for an even line
What Happens After You Call
01
Walk the property
We visit your Argyle address, measure every roof edge, note the trim color and look at the house the way neighbors and drivers will see it after dark.
02
Site survey
A designer measures rooflines, checks outlets and power, and asks how you plan to use the lights through the year.
03
Plan the zones
Front, sides, garage or rear elevations can run as separate zones, so one scene lights the street side while another rests.
04
Install and test
Our insured crew mounts the track, wires the controller and tests every run before anything is called finished.
05
Scenes and support
We set schedules and holiday presets, then stay a phone call away for service calls on the system we installed.
Argyle Settings We Design For
Argyle keeps its small-town feel while new communities grow around it. The layouts we draw here vary a lot from property to property.
FM 407 corridor
Homes set back from the road along FM 407 are seen from a distance by passing traffic. A continuous roofline outline reads clearly at that range, and we time it to come on at dusk and switch off when the household turns in.
Harvest area
Newer homes on the Argyle and Northlake side of the I-35W corridor. Clean rooflines and fresh trim make for an efficient install and a crisp line of light that disappears into the fascia in daylight. Many owners add the back patio as a second zone.
Argyle Eagles fans
School colors on game nights are one of the most popular scenes in town. Save it once, schedule it for the season and let the whole road know where your family's loyalties sit on Friday night. Switch back to white at bedtime automatically.
Canyon Falls area
Master-planned streets with newer two-story homes and architectural review. We supply the system details your association asks for and keep layouts tight to the architecture, so the result looks deliberate on every elevation. Stone accents and trim are matched carefully.
Acreage and ranch properties
Houses, barns and shops spread across a property often need power planning for each building. We map every structure during the site visit and show you which ones can join the system right away. Others can be added in a later phase.
Seasonal Displays vs. a Permanent System
On a large property, seasonal lighting is a big job every year: many feet of roofline, tall porches and multiple buildings, all hung in November and removed in January. Our seasonal service, which covers commercial properties and HOAs across Dallas-Fort Worth, takes that work on with leased commercial-grade product, maintenance and storage.
For homes, permanent lighting removes the yearly effort entirely. You trade a recurring project for a single install that also covers every other season.
Seasonal: repeated work on long rooflines
Seasonal: storage and in-season repairs
Permanent: installed once, works year-round
Permanent: independent zones per building
Our seasonal service covers businesses and HOAs

How We Scope an Argyle Project
Here is what we look at before writing a proposal.
How many feet of edge
We build every proposal from measured footage, never a guess. Lighting only the street-facing roofline keeps scope tight, while a full wraparound outline adds track, connections and crew hours.
Mounting surface
Wood fascia, metal trim, stucco and stone each mount differently. Commercial facades, parapets and canopy edges often need their own approach, which we plan during the walk-through.
Stories and roof pitch
Two-story eaves and steep pitches take more setup, more safety equipment and more crew time than a single-story ranch with gentle slopes, so height shows up directly in the proposal.
Room to grow
If you think you may want more runs later, tell us during the first visit. We size the controller and layout so new sections tie in cleanly when you are ready to add them.
Zones and controllers
One zone is the simplest system. Splitting the home so different sides can run different scenes takes more planning and hardware, and we explain the tradeoff before you decide.

Argyle Permanent Lighting FAQ
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Can you light a barn or detached shop?
–
Yes, as long as power is available or can be routed there. We check each building during the site visit and can make it a separate zone, so it can run on its own schedule or join the main house for holidays.
Will the lights be visible from the road on a large lot?
–
Yes. We design from the viewing angle that matters, usually the road or the driveway approach. Long, unbroken rooflines read especially well from a distance at night, and we check the layout from that vantage point during the visit before you approve the plan.
How is PermaLites 365 different from regular Christmas lights?
–
Regular strands go up in the fall and come down in January, and they need testing, clips and storage every year. PermaLites 365 is a fixed LED track that stays on the house, blends with the trim by day and changes color from an app whenever you want.
Can you see the track during the day?
–
The track is color-matched to your fascia or trim and mounted tight to the roof edge, so from the street it reads as part of the trim. Most neighbors only notice the system when the lights are on, which is exactly the point.
Is a tall roof a problem?
–
No. We plan equipment for height and pitch during the site visit. The crew is insured with liability and workers' compensation coverage, and certificates of insurance are available if your HOA, builder or property manager asks for one before work begins.
Do I need new electrical work?
–
The controller needs a power source near where it mounts, often in the garage or by an exterior outlet. We check power during the site visit. If the nearest outlet is far from the ideal controller location, we explain the options before you commit.
Does installation harm my roof or gutters?
–
The track mounts along the fascia or roof edge rather than across the shingles. We review mounting points with you during the design visit so you know exactly where hardware goes before the crew arrives, and we can answer any roofing questions then.
Is permanent lighting worth it compared to hiring seasonal installs?
–
If you light the roofline every year, permanent lighting removes the yearly install and removal cycle and adds use for every other holiday and everyday accent light. The payoff depends on how long you plan to own the property and how often you use it.
Do I get a design before the install?
–
Every project starts with a site visit and a written layout. You review the runs, zones, controller location and track color before anything is scheduled, and we adjust the plan until it matches what you have in mind. Only then do we put the install on the calendar.
