Christmas Lighting for Argyle, TX HOAs and Commercial Properties
Argyle is a commercial and HOA service area for Carruthers Decorative Lighting: we light association common areas, business properties and town sites, and we do not light individual homes.
Argyle is a small Denton County town with a largely rural character. It was founded in 1881 after the railroad came through. Growth has arrived mainly in the form of large master-planned communities on the town's edges, along Interstate 35W, FM 407 and FM 1171. That pattern decides what holiday lighting looks like here. There are few long retail strips to outline. Instead, the visible sites are community entrances on country roads, amenity centers and the handful of commercial buildings. A dark two-lane road makes a well-lit entrance stand out from a long way off.
What an Argyle association or business can expect
The first step in Argyle is always a site walk. We look at the entrance, the signs, the power available and the trees, then prepare a written proposal with a design map. The commercial-grade LED lighting is leased and custom-cut to fit, so the board is not buying or storing product. We can provide a certificate of insurance showing liability and workers' compensation coverage.
Two master-planned communities account for much of the association activity around Argyle. Harvest covers about 1,200 acres along I-35W and FM 407, straddling Argyle and Northlake, and is built around a working farm with community pools and more than 20 other amenities. Canyon Falls is a 1,200-acre community along FM 1171 east of I-35W that reaches into Argyle and Flower Mound. In communities such as these, lighting covers entrances, monument signs, medians, clubhouses and amenity centers.
Commercial properties in Argyle are fewer and smaller. Offices, shops, churches and schools here usually need a simple roofline, a lit entry and a wreath or garland. Larger sites can add a commercial Christmas tree. Installation is scheduled around business hours, and in-season service usually happens within 24 to 48 hours of a call.
The local date to plan around is the Annual Argyle Christmas Tree Lighting Festival. Keep Argyle Beautiful hosts it on the first Saturday of December. Boards that want entrances lit by then should decide in early fall. Removal begins in early January, followed by climate-controlled storage.

Argyle Christmas Lighting FAQs
Will you install Christmas lights on my home in Argyle?
No. We do not serve individual homes in Argyle, including homes in Harvest or Canyon Falls. In Argyle we work for HOAs, commercial properties and the town. Residential installation is available only in Plano, Frisco, Allen and Richardson. Your HOA board can contact us about common areas.
Can you add wreaths and garland to an Argyle amenity center or entrance?
Yes. Along with roofline and wall lighting, we offer wreaths, garlands, commercial Christmas trees and oversized ornaments. On a quiet road, one large wreath or a lit tree at the entrance often does more than extra strands. We mark each piece on the design map in your proposal.
Does an Argyle HOA have to buy the lights?
No. The commercial-grade LED lighting is leased, not sold. It is custom-cut to your entrances and buildings, installed and maintained by our crews, removed beginning in early January, and stored in our climate-controlled facility. The association has nothing to purchase, repair or store between seasons.
