LITTLE ELM HOMES

Residential Christmas Light Installation in Little Elm, TX

Little Elm grew from a lake town of a few thousand people in the early 2000s into a community of master-planned neighborhoods, most built within the last 25 years. We design a display for your house, lease the LEDs, install and service them, and take everything down after the holidays.

Your Little Elm Season Includes

Little Elm homeowners get the same full-service plan as every customer of our residential Christmas lighting.

01

A plan for your elevation

Builders here repeat floor plans with different facades, so we design around your specific gables, stone and porch rather than a model-home template.

04

Help during the season

A section out the week before Christmas is handled with a service visit after you call our office.

02

LEDs we own and maintain

Lights are leased and cut to your eaves, so there are no boxes to buy, sort or stack in the garage.

05

Post-holiday removal

Everything comes down after the holidays, including the timers and extension cords we added.

03

Professional hanging

Insured crews set the lights with gutter and shingle clips and test every run before they pack up.

06

Labeled for next year

We store your lighting by section of the house, ready to reinstall when fall comes back around.

Builder Homes on Narrow and Mid-Size Lots

Little Elm stayed quiet until the late 1990s, when the Dallas North Tollway extension made it easier to reach, and its population climbed to around 50,000 by 2019. Most houses date from that boom: brick and stone two-stories and single-story plans from national builders, often on lots well under a quarter acre. Garages typically face the street, so the garage edge and the front gables become the frame of the display.

Lot widths matter here. In Union Park, sample lots run from about 0.07 to 0.24 acres, and neighbors sit close on either side, so we keep runs tight to your roofline and avoid lighting that spills toward the house next door. Sunset Pointe homes from the mid-2000s are typically two-story with compact yards, where a roof outline and a lit front bed carry most of the look.

  • Garage edge and front gables as the frame

  • Stone accents and porches traced in warm white

  • Tight runs that stay on your side of the lot

  • One wrapped yard tree for height

  • Lit beds along short front walks

Little Elm Neighborhoods on Our Route

We install across Little Elm, from the lakefront to the U.S. 380 corridor. Homes nearby in Frisco just to the east and in The Colony's lake neighborhoods are part of the same service area.

Union Park

Hillwood's 1,100-acre community off U.S. 380 centers on a 35-acre park, with homes from builders such as Drees, Highland and American Legend. Two-story fronts take gable outlines and wrapped entry trees, and the pond and park edges give some lots an open view worth lighting toward.

Sunset Pointe

Phases built in the 2000s near the lake hold two-story homes on compact lots. A peak outline, lit garage edge and netted front shrubs fit the scale without crowding the neighbors.

Del Webb at Union Park

The 55-plus section of Union Park has single-story plans and its own pool, courts and clubhouse. Low rooflines mean no second-story work, and many owners choose a warm white eave line with a lit wreath at the door.

Valencia on the Lake

A roughly 448-acre community with more than 80 acres of green space and a resort-style amenity center, where First Texas Homes plans run from about 2,600 to 3,900 square feet. Big facades make room for wreaths, garland and layered rooflines, and landscape and path lighting in Little Elm suits the open lawns year-round.

Older streets near the lake

Long before the master plans, small A-frame cabins near the shore served as weekend fishing getaways. Homes on the older lake-area streets vary widely in age and shape, so we measure each one and fit the lighting to whatever roof it has.

66 Miles of Shoreline and Plenty of HOAs

Little Elm has more than 66 miles of Lewisville Lake shoreline within town limits, and neighborhoods near the water get steady wind through the winter. We fasten each run securely, keep drops short at the corners and test the display before leaving. If a gust knocks a section loose, a service call brings a crew back.

Nearly every newer Little Elm neighborhood has an association, and Union Park includes a 55-plus section, Del Webb at Union Park, with its own clubhouse and amenities. Guidelines on dates, placement and color vary, so we review them before designing. Boards planning their own entrance displays can read about our HOA and community entrance lighting.

  • Secure fastening for lakefront wind

  • Short, tidy drops at roof corners

  • HOA guidelines reviewed up front

  • Low, simple designs for single-story 55-plus homes

  • Storm repairs handled with a service call

Little Elm Display Cost Factors

We quote from measurements, not a package. Here is what moves the number.

Front versus full outline

Lighting just the front elevation keeps the scope modest. Wrapping the sides and back adds feet of product and time.

Color and bulb size

Warm white, multicolor and the bulb sizes you pick each change the product list for your house.

Stories and pitch

A two-story with steep gables needs more setup than a single-story Del Webb roofline.

Add-ons

Wreaths, garland, bows and walkway lights can be included now or added in a later year.

Trees

Young builder trees take little product, while a mature tree near the lake takes much more.

Common Questions in Little Elm

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you install Christmas lights on homes in Little Elm?

–

Yes. We serve Little Elm homes in ZIP 75068 and the Union Park area that uses 76227. Our Little Elm holiday lighting page covers the Lakefront businesses and HOA entrances we also light.

Should I lease, buy or put up permanent lights?

–

Leasing means we handle product, upkeep, removal and storage. Buying means you do all of that yourself each year. For homeowners who want lighting that stays up and changes by occasion, we also offer permanent roofline lighting in Little Elm.

When should I schedule my Little Elm install?

–

Early fall is the time to book. Installs usually begin in early November, and since many homeowners want lights glowing by Thanksgiving, the earliest calls get the most choice.

When does takedown happen in Little Elm?

–

Generally in early January, after the holiday season wraps up. Everything is removed, labeled and stored with us.

My HOA has rules. Can you work within them?

–

Yes. Union Park, Valencia on the Lake and other Little Elm communities each set their own guidelines. Send them our way and we will design and schedule to match.

Is there any risk to my shingles or gutters?

–

We attach with clips made for gutters and shingle edges, without nails or staples in the shingles, and we do not drill into stone or brick for seasonal lighting.

Where does the power come from, and when do the lights turn on?

–

We plug into your exterior outlets and set a timer to your preferred hours. If your home has only one front outlet, we plan the runs around it so cords stay neat.

Do you work in the Del Webb 55-plus section of Union Park?

–

Yes. Single-story homes there are simple to light, and we coordinate with community guidelines before install. Many owners like a warm white roofline and lit wreath that look tidy with no upkeep on their part.
