What Grapevine Businesses Get From Us
A complete holiday program sized for a city that celebrates for weeks.
01
Design That Fits the Street
On Main Street a display has to complement neighbors and historic facades. Along SH-114 it has to read from the highway. We plan each site for its own context.
04
Repairs Through the Season
If a section fails during a busy weekend, call the office. In-season service calls are part of the program, and a crew comes back out to restore the display.
02
LED Supplied on a Lease
Our commercial-grade LED product is leased, cut to your property and installed for the season. You never buy lighting, store it in a back room or replace burned-out sets.
05
Organized January Removal
After the season, crews remove lighting and attachments around your business hours, so entrances stay open and the building is back to normal quickly. Clips come off cleanly too.
03
Early, Organized Installs
Grapevine's season starts early and draws crowds for weeks. We schedule installs ahead of the busiest weekends so your property is ready when visitors start arriving.
06
Stored Until Next Fall
We label and store each property's lighting through the off-season. Next year's install starts with product that already fits, which keeps scheduling smooth. Nothing sits in your back room.

Christmas Capital Standards
Grapevine promotes itself as the Christmas Capital of Texas, with well over a thousand events across roughly forty days, and Historic Main Street is closed to cars at times during the season to make room for them. Visitors come specifically to see lights.
For a business, that sets the bar. A property that is lit thoughtfully becomes part of what people came to experience, and it photographs well for the crowds walking by. A property left dark, or lit halfway, stands out for the wrong reason in a city dressed for the holidays.

Our Grapevine Project Timeline
01
Early Inquiry
Reach out in summer or early fall by phone or online. Grapevine's calendar fills early, so the earlier the better for dates.
02
Site Walk
We visit the property, measure what will be lit, check power, and note pedestrian traffic and loading access on busy streets.
03
Proposal and Sign-Off
You receive a written design and proposal. Owners, hotel managers or HOA boards review it and approve the plan.
04
Pre-Season Install
Crews install before the city's peak events, working early or late to keep sidewalks, lobbies and drives clear for guests.
05
Service and Takedown
We take service calls during the season, remove everything after the holidays and store your lighting until next fall.
Grapevine Locations We Serve
Grapevine sits beside DFW International Airport where State Highways 114 and 121 meet, with a visitor economy few cities its size can match.
Historic Main Street
The heart of Grapevine's holiday season, lined with shops, restaurants and historic buildings. Warm white outlines, greenery and wreaths suit the older facades and add to the festive streetscape that draws crowds on foot every December evening. We schedule installs and service visits around street closures and event nights.
Resort Hotels and Venues
Grapevine's resort hotels and event venues welcome guests from across the country during the season. Entrance drives, porte-cocheres and lobbies are where a lighting plan makes the strongest first impression on arriving travelers. Exterior lighting can be paired with lobby trees, garland and wreaths so the outside and inside look like one plan.
Glade Crossing and Lakeside Estates
Neighborhood associations such as Glade Crossing, Lakeside Estates near Grapevine Lake, Stone Bridge Oaks and Oak Creek Estates light entry monuments, walls, entrance trees and pool buildings. The HOA contracts for common areas only. Boards get a written design they can approve at a regular meeting, plus a certificate of insurance for their records.
Grapevine Mills Area
Retail pads, restaurants and service businesses around the large shopping center see heavy holiday traffic. Bold rooflines, lit signs and wrapped parking-island trees help a property stand out when shoppers are scanning for their next stop. Installs are timed early in the morning, before the lots fill, so parking stays open for customers.
SH-114 Dealer Corridor
Dealerships along the Grapevine and Southlake stretch of SH-114 compete for drivers during year-end sales. Wrapped light poles, outlined showrooms and lit pylon signs, installed after closing, keep the lot visible from the freeway. Multi-store dealer groups can fold several rooftops into one proposal and one invoice for the season.
Hotels, Dealers and Multi-Site Operators
Hospitality and auto operators often run more than one property, and each one needs to be lit on time. We can cover several sites under one proposal and one invoice while designing each location individually.
Our parent company, Carruthers Landscape Management, has served Dallas-area commercial clients since 1978, so we are used to working around guests, tenants and security rules. Certificates of insurance naming the owner, operator or management company are available before any crew arrives on site.

Grapevine Cost Considerations
Quotes follow a site visit; these elements shape them.
Facade and Roofline Length
The linear feet of storefront, parapet and roofline to be lit is the primary driver. A long hotel facade naturally needs more product and labor than a single shop.
Trees, Poles and Greenery
Each wrapped tree, dealership light pole, wreath or garland run adds product and time. Large canopy wraps cost more than simple trunk wraps. We list each element on the proposal so you can trim or add items.
Pedestrian-Area Logistics
Installs on busy sidewalks or near event closures may require early-morning work and extra care. Tight access windows can add crew time to the project.
Interior Additions
Lobby trees, garland on staircases and wreaths for reception areas can join an exterior program for one coordinated look, adding to the total investment. Combining both usually means one crew visit, one schedule and one invoice.
Height and Equipment
Multi-story hotels, tall trees and high signs often need lifts. The height, the number of lift days and the access route all factor into the total.

Grapevine Christmas Lighting Questions
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Do you install Christmas lights on Grapevine homes?
–
No. In Grapevine we serve commercial properties, hotels and venues, car dealerships, HOAs and municipal clients. Residential Christmas lighting is offered only in Plano, Frisco, Allen and Richardson. Grapevine residents can ask their neighborhood association about lighting the community entrance.
Can you finish before the city's holiday events start?
–
Yes, with early booking. Grapevine's season starts sooner than most, so we recommend reaching out in summer or early fall. That lets us schedule your install ahead of the busiest weekends and leaves time for approvals. Larger sites with lifts or many trees benefit most from an early date on the calendar.
Can you work around Main Street foot traffic?
–
Yes. On busy streets we plan installs for early mornings or quieter hours, keep sidewalks clear and follow any access rules for the area. The goal is a display that appears without disrupting shoppers or neighboring businesses. Removal in January follows the same careful approach, so the street returns to normal quickly.
Do you light hotel entrances and lobbies?
–
Yes. We light entrance drives, porte-cocheres, facades and trees outside, and we can add lobby trees, garland and wreaths inside. Hotel managers receive one proposal covering both, with installs timed around guest arrivals. Everything is removed and stored after the season, so housekeeping and engineering staff have nothing to pack away.
Can you light a dealership on SH-114?
–
Yes. Dealership programs typically include light pole wraps, showroom rooflines, sign accents and entry trees. We install after closing so no sales day is lost, and the display is up before year-end sales events begin. Groups with stores along SH-114 and beyond can bundle locations.
Do we have to buy the lighting?
–
No. Our holiday lighting is leased. We supply commercial-grade LED product cut to your property, install it, maintain it through the season, remove it and store it. You avoid buying, storing and replacing lights every year. The fit also improves each year.
Can our HOA in Glade Crossing get a quote?
–
Yes. We light association common areas such as monuments, entry walls, entrance trees, pool buildings and park pavilions. The board or community manager receives a written design and proposal that can go straight into a meeting packet for approval. Volunteers never climb a ladder.
What if lights go out during a busy weekend?
–
Call our office during business hours. In-season service calls are part of the program, and we schedule a crew to repair the problem as quickly as possible so your property stays lit for visitors. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, at 972-620-9560.
Will you provide a certificate of insurance?
–
Yes. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation and can provide certificates naming your company, landlord, hotel operator or management firm. Let us know who should be listed and we send it before installation. Many hotel and retail landlords require this before any crew arrives.
