Décor that fits historic Grapevine
Grapevine's historic core calls for classic, careful work that complements what the city already does.
01
Historic facade lighting
Older brick buildings deserve clean, warm roofline runs that trace cornices and trim. We attach without damage and remove every clip in the new year.
04
Event-ready displays
Parades, markets and tree lightings bring crowds downtown. We schedule installs so the display is finished, lit and checked before your first event of the season.
02
Main street garland
Garland on storefront blocks, rails and civic entries ties a downtown together. We use commercial-grade product that holds its shape in North Texas wind and still looks full in late December.
05
Storefronts on Main
Restaurants, shops and law firms on Main Street can book garland, wreaths and roofline lighting that complements the street and the city's own displays. We schedule their installs in quieter hours.
03
Supplemental civic sites
Beyond the main district, Grapevine has libraries, recreation centers and parks. We can extend the holiday feel to those sites so every part of town looks ready.
06
Roofline and facade lighting
Warm white or color LED lines on city hall, libraries and civic centers make public buildings readable from the road at night. Every run is cut to fit the building, not stretched to fit.

Working in the Christmas Capital of Texas
Grapevine's holiday program is well known, and many people visit Main Street for it each year. Any décor we add should fit what is already there.
We focus on classic materials and careful installation: warm white roofline runs, full garland and wreaths sized to historic entries. For civic sites beyond downtown, we extend the same palette so residents see a consistent look across town. For businesses on Main Street, we design storefront décor that complements, never competes with, the city's own displays.

How we schedule a Grapevine season
01
Walk the sites
We tour each location with your staff, note poles, power, trees and rooflines, and agree on which spots matter most to residents.
02
Custom layout
Our team designs the display around your architecture and colors, then prices it site by site so staff can adjust scope easily.
03
Install before events
Installation is timed backward from your first holiday event, with crew hours chosen to keep streets and entries open.
04
Maintain all season
Service calls and maintenance run through the season. If something goes dark or shifts, call us and a crew comes out to fix it.
05
Pack it away
Removal happens on a date that suits your staff. Product returns to our storage, labeled for your sites and ready for next year.
Grapevine landmarks and districts
These are places central to Grapevine's holiday season, where we plan carefully around crowds and events.
Historic Main Street
Main Street's brick storefronts and civic buildings are the center of Grapevine's holidays. Businesses here can book classic garland, wreaths and roofline lighting designed to complement the city's own décor on the street. Crews work these blocks in quieter morning hours.
Grapevine Main station area
The depot area at the south end of Main Street greets visitors arriving by rail. Lighting and wreaths on nearby public and private buildings help welcome riders into the district. We time any work there around train schedules and the busy weekend crowds the district draws in December.
Grapevine Lake parks
City parks near the lake offer open views and room for tree lighting that families can enjoy on evening drives or walks during the season. We would check power access, wind exposure and parking areas first, then choose the trees that stand out most from the road.
Carol of Lights
Grapevine's Carol of Lights event marks the start of the season downtown. Any work we do nearby, for the city or for businesses, is scheduled to be finished and checked before that night. Takedown also waits until downtown events wrap up.
Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park
Garden settings call for tree and shrub lighting installed with care. Our landscape background, through a parent company founded in 1978, helps us light plantings without harming them. Any garden work would be planned closely with staff so beds and paths stay protected throughout the season.
Procurement and timing in Grapevine
Whether we are working for a city department or a Main Street business, timing in Grapevine is everything. We map major downtown events first and set install windows well before them, with busy blocks worked in quieter hours.
For city purchasing, we respond to RFPs, provide written quotes listing each site and send certificates of insurance for liability and workers' compensation. Takedown waits until the season's events are over. Every document goes to one staff contact.

What affects cost in Grapevine
Historic settings and busy calendars both shape the scope.
Roofline footage
Lighting on civic buildings is measured in linear feet. Taller buildings and complex rooflines need lifts and more time, which affects both cost and schedule for that building.
Number of sites
One city hall entry is a different job from a main street, three parks and two libraries. Each added location adds design, product and crew time.
Poles and corridor length
Pole décor is priced per pole, so the length of the corridor and the spacing between poles shape the budget more than any other factor on a street job.
Interior scope
Lobby trees, wreaths and garland for town offices and libraries are priced separately from outdoor work, so you can add or drop interiors easily from year to year.
Historic detail work
Tracing cornices, arches and trim takes more time than straight rooflines. Historic buildings reward that care, but it affects crew hours and cost. We note those facades in the quote.

Grapevine holiday lighting FAQs
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Do you run Grapevine's own holiday program?
–
No. Grapevine has its own well-known holiday program. We offer design, installation and service for civic sites, parks and businesses that want to add to the season, always scheduled to fit around the city's events. Our role is to add to the season, not to replace anything the city already does.
Can you decorate inside city buildings?
–
Yes. Interior décor covers lobby and atrium trees, wreaths, garland and entry décor for town offices, council chambers, libraries and civic centers. Interiors are designed to match the outdoor display, so residents see one theme inside and out. Indoor work can be scheduled around office hours and public meetings.
Can you respond to our RFP or formal bid?
–
Yes. Send the solicitation and we will answer each item it asks for, from scope and schedule to insurance. If a requirement falls outside what we offer, we say so plainly in the response instead of guessing. Our office is open weekdays from 8am to 5pm for questions during the bid window.
Can you install on historic buildings without damage?
–
Yes. We use clips and attachment methods that do not drill or nail into brick or trim, and we remove every piece after the season. Historic facades come through the season in the same condition. We walk each facade with staff first to agree on attachment points.
Do you only do Christmas lighting for cities?
–
Holiday lighting and décor is our core municipal work, but we also install permanent lighting, landscape lighting, bistro and string lighting and special event lighting. Those can light a plaza, park or civic building year-round, separate from the holiday program.
Can Main Street businesses book with you?
–
Yes. Restaurants, retail shops and law firms on Main Street can book our commercial holiday service. We design storefront décor to complement the street and finish installs before the season's big events. Many businesses also want takedown after the busiest weekends, which we schedule around their hours.
Can the design reflect our city's own look?
–
Every display we install is custom designed. We consider your colors, architecture, landscaping and the places residents gather. A historic district might call for warm white and classic garland, while a newer civic campus can take a cleaner, modern palette.
Will your light-pole décor fit our existing poles?
–
We check before we design. On the site walk we look at pole height, spacing, existing brackets and nearby wiring. The swags, wreaths and garland are then sized for those poles. If some poles cannot take décor safely, we tell you and plan around them.
Do you light gardens and park plantings?
–
Yes. Our parent company, Carruthers Landscape Management, has worked in commercial landscapes since 1978. That background guides how we light trees, shrubs and beds without harming them. Fixtures sit lightly on limbs and shrubs, and nothing is left behind in beds when the season ends in January.
