Built for a classic town square
A square gives you four sides of storefronts and a center to decorate, so the pieces work as a set.
01
Storefront garland around the square
Brick facades on the square take full garland around doors and windows. It is the single piece that makes the whole district look dressed for the season.
04
Coordinated color schemes
Pick classic warm white, traditional red and green, or colors tied to your city's brand. We carry the same palette from street poles to park trees to the lobby tree.
02
Trunk wraps and canopy lighting
Mature park and street trees get wrapped trunks and lighted canopies in warm white or a color the city chooses. It turns an ordinary lawn into a December destination.
05
Library and municipal buildings
Roofline lighting and entry wreaths at the Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library and city offices tie civic buildings into the same look as the square. Interior lobby trees can carry the same palette inside.
03
Lighted trees in the center
Wrapped trunks and lighted canopies on the trees in the middle of the square give the space a glow you can see from every corner and from the side streets.
06
Entry signs and monuments
City-limit signs, park entries and monuments get wreaths, garland and lighting that announce the season to anyone driving in. These pieces are small but seen by almost everyone.

Why the square comes first
When residents picture Lancaster at Christmas, most of them picture the square. It is compact, walkable and lined with older buildings that take décor well.
We design the square as one composition. Pole wreaths and swags set a rhythm along the sidewalks. Garland frames each storefront. Lighted trees fill the center. Then we carry a lighter version of the same palette out to city buildings and parks so the rest of Lancaster feels connected to the square.

From site walk to January takedown
01
Site visit first
A crew lead meets city staff on site to measure rooflines, count poles and trees, find power and talk through what residents expect to see.
02
Plan and paperwork
The design arrives with a written quote and certificates of insurance, so your purchasing office has what it needs to issue a purchase order.
03
Crews on your calendar
Installation is booked backward from your first holiday event, with work hours chosen to avoid busy streets, school traffic and other city activities.
04
In-season care
Through December, our team handles maintenance and service calls so city crews can stay focused on their regular work during a busy season.
05
Remove and store
After the holidays we take everything down, pack it by location and store it, so next year's install starts from a custom-fit kit.
Where Lancaster's holiday lighting belongs
We plan around the places Lancaster residents already gather. These are the sites we would review with staff on a first visit, limited to city property.
Historic Town Square
The heart of the program. Pole décor, storefront garland and lighted trees work together here. Shops, restaurants and law firms on the square can book matching décor so every side looks finished. We plan the four sides together so no corner looks forgotten, and we keep the center open for crowds on lighting night.
Community Park
Larger trees and open lawns suit trunk wraps and canopy lighting that can be seen across the park. Pavilion lighting gives evening events a warm, finished setting. A few well-placed lighted trees near the parking areas give families an easy evening stop without needing to decorate the entire park in year one.
Veterans Memorial Library
A civic building residents visit all winter. Wreaths at the entry, garland on railings and a warm roofline make it feel festive, and a lobby tree carries the look inside. Patrons walking over from the square see the library as part of the same holiday district rather than a separate stop.
I-35E and I-20 approaches
Lancaster sits where two major highways meet. Entry signs and monuments near the main approaches are good places for wreaths and lighting that welcome drivers into town. Large wreaths with clean warm white lighting read clearly at highway speed, where smaller pieces would blur into the background.
Scheduling around Lancaster's holiday calendar
A square that hosts events needs installs that stay out of the way. We build the schedule backward from your tree lighting, parade or market dates.
Crews work early in the day or after shops close where that is safer, and we avoid days when the square is already busy. The display is tested before your first public event, and we walk it with staff. During the season, service calls cover any section that goes dark.

Cost factors for a Lancaster program
Every quote follows the real scope of your sites.
Linear feet of roofline
Roofline lighting is measured by the foot. Longer, taller or more detailed buildings take more product and more lift time than a simple single-story outline.
Interior scope
Lobby trees, counter garland and office décor are priced separately from exterior work, by the number of rooms, trees and entries included. Both can be combined into one written quote.
Garland and wreath volume
Feet of garland and the count and size of wreaths and swags add up quickly on a long main street. We size quantities to the blocks you choose.
Tree count and height
Trunk wraps and canopy lighting scale with the number of trees and how tall they are. Large canopies need lifts and more product than young street trees.
Number of square blocks
Decorating all four sides of the square costs more than one or two sides. Many cities start with the busiest sides and add the rest over later seasons.

Questions from Lancaster staff
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Can you decorate the whole Historic Town Square?
–
Yes. We can design all four sides plus the center, or start with the busiest sides and grow. Pole décor, storefront garland and lighted trees are planned as one set so the square looks finished from every angle. Staff see the full plan before approving.
Can staff get a written quote for council review?
–
Yes. After the site walk we put the scope in writing: each location, the décor planned there, the install window and the service plan. Staff can attach it to a council packet or route it for internal approval. Pricing is based on your actual sites.
Will pole décor fit our existing light poles?
–
We check first. On the site walk we note pole height, spacing, existing brackets and receptacles. Swags, wreaths and garland are then sized to those poles. If some poles cannot take décor safely, we tell you and design around them.
Can shops on the square match the city's décor?
–
Yes. Restaurants, retail shops and law firms on the square can book matching garland, wreaths and lighting on their own agreement. That keeps storefronts consistent with the light poles and trees the city decorates. Each business signs its own agreement and pays for its own storefront.
How much power do LED holiday displays use?
–
Commercial-grade LED product draws far less power than older incandescent strings, which helps on circuits shared with existing site lighting. We check outlets and circuits at each location during the site walk and design within what is available. Shared circuits are flagged in the quote so facilities staff know what to expect.
What paperwork can you provide to Lancaster purchasing?
–
We provide a written quote listing each site, the décor, the install window and the service plan, plus certificates of insurance for your files. If the city issues an RFP or request for quotes, we answer each item it asks for.
Can crews work early in the morning or after hours?
–
Often, yes. Busy streets and civic entries are easier and safer to work on when traffic is light. We set crew hours with your staff, follow any street-use rules the city sets and avoid days when markets or events already fill the area.
When does the display come down?
–
Most cities choose a takedown date in early to mid January. We schedule removal with your staff, take everything down, pack it by location and store it. If an event runs late into the season, we can push takedown to match so nothing comes down early.
Can you work around events on the square?
–
Yes. We set install dates from your event calendar, work early or late where it is safer and avoid days the square is booked. The display is fully tested before your first public event. If an event date moves, tell us early and we adjust crews.
