Outdoor and Indoor Décor for DeSoto

Street, park and building décor, planned together and installed by one crew.

01

Light-Pole Swags

Swags along street light poles give a main street rhythm from block to block. We size them to your poles and banner arms, and lighted versions are planned around the power that is actually available.

04

Medians and Boulevards

Trees and features in medians and along boulevards can carry wraps or garland that drivers notice at road speed. Placement is planned around sight lines and safe access for our crew.

02

Law Firm Interiors

Law firms and professional offices near city hall usually want a polished, restrained look. Lobby trees, wreaths and garland suit reception areas and conference rooms without feeling loud or busy.

05

Oversized Outdoor Trees

Where no living tree is available to light, an oversized outdoor tree can anchor a plaza or civic lawn. It gives a tree-lighting event a true centerpiece scaled to the space around it.

03

Restaurant Fronts and Patios

Restaurants want guests to see the season from the street and feel it at the table. Entry garland, window décor and patio lighting help a dining row match the public display nearby.

06

Parade and Market Routes

Streets used for parades and holiday markets look fuller with pole décor and lit trees along the route. Installs are scheduled so the route is finished and tested well before event day.

Scheduled Around the DeSoto Calendar

Your holiday events set the deadline, so we plan backward from them. A tree lighting, a parade, a holiday market or a downtown open house each fixes a date when the display must be finished and tested.

We agree on work windows for busy streets and plazas, avoid setup days for other events and schedule removal after your last January gathering. Your staff gets a real calendar with dates, not a rough guess.

  • Install dates set from event dates

  • Agreed work windows on busy streets

  • No conflicts with event setup days

  • Testing finished before opening night

  • Removal after the final January event

How a DeSoto Season Runs

01

Map the scope

Our team visits every location you name and records heights, power, lift access and sight lines, so nothing in the proposal is guessed later.

02

Design and quote

You receive a custom design and a written proposal listing every site and piece, ready for a quote file, a purchasing review or a bid response.

03

Set the calendar

Install dates are set backward from your tree lighting, parade or market, and work windows are agreed in advance for busy streets and plazas.

04

Crews on site

Insured crews work through the sites in the agreed order, checking each piece as it goes up and testing every section before they leave.

05

Keep it running

In-season maintenance covers dark sections and weather damage. After the holidays we take it all down, clean up and store it.

DeSoto Places That Carry the Season

DeSoto concentrates much of its civic life in one place, which gives a holiday plan a clear center and room to grow outward.

DeSoto Town Center

City hall, the library and public plaza space sit together here. A lighted tree, wreaths on the buildings and garland at the entries create one gathering point for residents and a clear home for a tree lighting. Installs are timed to finish before any city event.

City Parks

Park trees can take trunk wraps and canopy lighting for a gathering or simply for drivers passing at night. We plan placement around paths, fields and play areas so the parks stay easy to use. Power access is confirmed during the walk.

Town Offices and Businesses

Interiors at city offices get lobby trees and garland. DeSoto restaurants, retail shops and law firms can book matching décor separately to extend the look. City interiors are installed outside public hours. Businesses get their own design walk and quote, and we can match ribbon, greenery and light color to the city's scheme.

Hampton Road

As a main north-south route, Hampton Road is seen by many residents every day. Pole swags and wreaths along city-maintained stretches carry the look from Town Center into the rest of the city. We confirm which poles the city controls before designing, and schedule work outside the busiest traffic hours.

Interstate 35E Gateway

Many visitors arrive from Interstate 35E. Wreaths and lighting at city-controlled entry signs mark the city line before drivers reach Town Center and the neighborhoods beyond. We confirm which signs and medians the city controls before designing, and fasten every piece to handle highway wind through the season.

Law Firms, Restaurants and Retail Join In

When the city decorates, nearby businesses notice. Law firms, restaurants and retail shops in DeSoto often ask us to dress their storefronts and interiors so they complement the public display.

Each business books its own service, but the design can echo the city's colors and pieces. A law firm might choose a lobby tree and entry wreath, a restaurant patio garland and window décor, a shop window swags. The result is a district that looks planned.

  • Entry wreaths and garland

  • Lobby trees for professional offices

  • Patio and window décor for restaurants

  • Storefront décor for retail shops

  • Designs that echo the city's look

What Drives the Cost

Every proposal is built from the sites and pieces you choose, and these weigh most.

Number of Poles

Pole count drives a large share of any street plan. Fifty poles of swags and wreaths along a main street is a very different scope from a dozen poles at a civic entry.

Length of Season

An earlier install or a later removal stretches the season, which can add maintenance visits and affect where your project falls on the crew calendar.

Interior Scope

Interior décor is its own line item: lobby trees, wreaths, garland and planters for each building. Larger rooms and multiple floors mean more pieces and more install time.

Custom Pieces

Brand colors, custom ribbon or décor sized for unusual poles and entries take additional design, sourcing and on-site fitting time compared with standard commercial pieces.

Style and Product Mix

Warm white lights with simple garland is one look. Color programs, oversized wreaths and layered décor are another. The mix of products you choose changes the proposal.

Answers for Purchasing and Parks Staff

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you provide certificates of insurance?

–

Yes. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we send certificates of insurance to purchasing, risk management or whichever department hired us. Tell us early what your city needs shown on the certificate so the paperwork is ready before our crew arrives on city property.

Who stores the decorations after the season?

–

We do. After removal, the lighting and décor return to our storage until the next season. Because the pieces were fit to your sites, much of the layout carries over, which makes the next install faster and keeps the look consistent from one year to the next.

What happens if a section goes dark during the season?

–

Call our office and we schedule a service call. In-season maintenance is part of the program, so a dark pole swag, a loose garland run or a tree that loses a section gets checked by our crew instead of being left for city staff to troubleshoot on a ladder.

Can you decorate inside town offices?

–

Yes. Interiors are part of our holiday décor work: lobby and atrium trees, wreaths, garland, entry and window décor and holiday planters. Town halls, libraries and council chambers can carry the same colors and style as the outdoor display, so the program feels like one design.

When do the decorations come down?

–

Removal usually happens after New Year's, on dates set with your staff. If the city has a January event that relies on the display, we schedule removal after it. The crew takes everything down, cleans up each site and returns the product to our storage.

What kind of lighting do you use?

–

Commercial-grade LED product, chosen for brightness, consistent color and much lower energy use than older incandescent strings. Garland, wreaths and swags are commercial pieces built for outdoor seasons, and everything is custom-fit to the property rather than simply draped on.

Do you offer lighting that stays up all year?

–

Yes. Separate from the seasonal program, we install PermaLites 365, an app-controlled permanent lighting system that can change colors for holidays, civic events and observances. It suits some civic buildings, while the leased seasonal program still handles garland, wreaths and trees.

What does a site walk cover?

–

We look at every location in the scope: poles, trees, rooflines, entries and interiors. We note heights, power, lift access and how people move through each space at night. That walk becomes the basis for the design and the written proposal your staff reviews.

Can several sites go under one contract?

–

Yes. A town hall, a library, a park and a main street can be planned as one program with one design direction, one schedule and one point of contact. That is usually simpler for staff than managing a separate vendor for each building or department.
