DeSoto, TX Christmas Lighting for Dealerships, Businesses and HOAs
Carruthers Decorative Lighting provides Christmas lighting in DeSoto for car dealerships, commercial properties, HOA common areas and municipal sites. Individual homes in DeSoto are not served.
DeSoto is a Dallas County city of about 56,000 and part of the Best Southwest group of cities with Cedar Hill, Duncanville and Lancaster. Its civic life centers on DeSoto Town Center, a former strip center that now houses city hall, the library, the civic center and the recreation center. The city is also redeveloping the Hampton Road Corridor as a walkable mixed-use street, and its freeway frontage is on Interstate 35E. These three places, the Town Center, Hampton Road and the freeway frontage, are where holiday lighting does the most work in DeSoto.
I-35E Dealerships, Hampton Road and DeSoto Town Center
Interstate 35E is DeSoto's dealership corridor. New-car franchises and independent lots line the freeway frontage, and we light them for drivers moving at highway speed. That means bold building outlines, lit canopies, oversized ornaments and a tall commercial tree near the showroom entrance. Installation is scheduled so the lot and service lanes stay open.
Hampton Road and the Town Center area are the civic and commercial middle of the city. Carruthers serves businesses along Hampton Road, Pleasant Run Road and Belt Line Road with rooflines, wrapped trees, wreaths and garland. As the Hampton Road Corridor redevelops, street-facing storefront lighting will matter more.
DeSoto has city-recognized homeowner associations. We serve communities such as Frost Farms and Thorntree, lighting entry monuments, walls and columns, common-area trees and shared amenity buildings.
Here is what a board, manager or dealer principal can expect. We do a site walk, then send a written proposal with a design map. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation and can issue a certificate of insurance. Service calls in season are usually handled within 24 to 48 hours. Removal begins in early January, and the leased lighting is stored in a climate-controlled facility. The Hometown Holiday Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting travels down Hampton Road to the Town Center in early December, so properties on the route should decide by early fall.

You approve everything in advance on the design map included with the written proposal.
Our business is on the DeSoto parade route. When should we schedule lighting?
