QUICK ANSWER

Euless landscape lighting is a low-voltage LED system planned for your property: uplit trees, lit walks and steps, a washed facade, patio light and security lighting. Businesses get sign, entry and parking-edge lighting. We visit, design, install with shallow cable and stay available for service after the system is running.

What We Light in Euless

Six ways Euless owners put landscape lighting to work.

01

Uplighting Trees

Fixtures at the base of live oaks, cedar elms and red oaks throw light up through the canopy. Bark texture and branch shape become the focal point after dark, with no glare toward the street.

04

Facade and Architecture

Wash lights and grazing fixtures bring out stone, brick, columns and gables. The house keeps its daytime character at night, and the entry becomes the clear center of the view.

02

Hotel and Hospitality Grounds

With the airport next door, Euless has many hotels and hospitality properties. Lit entries, signs, trees and walkways help travelers find the property and feel safe arriving late.

05

Golf Course Homes

Homes near Texas Star Golf Course look out on open fairways. Rear facade washes, patio lighting and uplit backyard trees create a view that reads from the course as well as the house.

03

Steps, Walks and Drives

Short bollards, step lights and path fixtures follow the way people really move across the property. Each one is spaced to pool light on the ground, not into anyone's face.

06

Water and Hardscape Accents

Light set into or beside retaining walls, seat walls, fountains and planters shows off stonework and water at night, tying the patio and garden together into one scene.

Light That Welcomes Late Arrivals

Airport-area properties see people arriving at every hour. A dark entry or unlit walk can make a hotel, office or home feel unwelcoming at midnight.

We light the route from parking or the drive to the door, mark steps and edges, and give the entry a clear focal point. The result is a property that is easy to find and comfortable to walk up to, whether you are a guest, an employee or just home late from a flight.

  • Clear path from parking to the door

  • Lit steps and walk edges

  • Strong focal point at the entry

  • Schedules that run late or all night

Lighting Around Euless

Euless stretches from the airport edge to quiet residential streets. Here are some parts of town we plan for.

Glade Parks

The shops and restaurants at Glade Parks draw evening crowds. Nearby businesses and homes benefit from warm entry, tree and walkway lighting that matches the area's newer, polished look without adding glare. Homes nearby get facade and entry lighting suited to newer architecture and younger trees.

Villages of Bear Creek

Homes in the Villages of Bear Creek area often have established trees and HOA guidelines. Warm, shielded fixtures on trees, walks and entries keep designs tasteful and easy to approve. We can provide fixture details and a layout for HOA review when your association asks for one.

Texas Star Golf Course

Homes along Texas Star Golf Course have backyards facing the fairways. Lighting the rear facade, patio and backyard trees creates a strong view from both sides, with fixtures shielded from golfers and neighbors. Patio and pool zones can run separately from the front of the house.

SH 183 and SH 360 Corridors

Hotels, offices and retail along the highways near the airport need signs and entries that read at speed. We light signage, entry trees and parking edges with steady, low-glare fixtures. Schedules can run all night for hotels or follow business hours for offices and shops.

Commercial and Hospitality Lighting

Euless businesses often run late, and some never close. Their lighting has to be reliable night after night.

We design systems for hotels, offices, restaurants and retail with commercial-grade LED fixtures, schedules matched to operating hours and fixtures placed to stay out of the way of maintenance crews. Carruthers has managed commercial landscapes since 1978, and our landscape lighting line, NTD, or Nite Time Decor, carries that experience. Certificates of insurance are available.

  • All-night or business-hour schedules

Cost Factors for Euless Projects

No two yards price the same, and these factors explain why.

Number of fixtures

Fixture count is the biggest driver. A front yard with a few trees and a walk needs far fewer lights than a full property with backyard, side yards, patio and pool all in the plan.

Zones and app control

Splitting front, back and patio into separate zones lets you run each on its own schedule. Smart controllers and app access add to the hardware list and the setup work.

Crossing paving and stone

Turf and planting beds are quick to work in. Getting under concrete walks, flagstone patios or brick edging, or setting lights into walls and steps, adds labor that we flag early.

Power supply size

The transformer converts household current to safe low voltage. Its capacity, and whether a second unit is needed for a distant part of the yard, is set by fixture count and wire length.

Wire runs and distance

Long runs to a back fence line, a far tree or a detached structure add cable and labor. Grouping fixtures into smart circuits keeps wire lengths and voltage drop under control.

Euless Landscape Lighting FAQ

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you light hotels near DFW Airport?

–

Yes. We light entries, signs, trees, walkways and parking edges for hotels and hospitality properties in Euless. The design helps travelers find the property and feel safe arriving late, and schedules can run all night where needed. Certificates of insurance are available for property managers on request.

Can my Euless HOA approve landscape lighting?

–

Most associations approve tasteful, warm white landscape lighting that stays on your property. Some want a submission first. We design with shielded fixtures and can give you a layout and fixture details to include with your HOA request. That usually speeds up approval.

Can you light the backyard of a golf course home?

–

Yes. We light the rear facade, patio and backyard trees so the view works from inside the house and from the course. Fixtures are shielded and aimed to avoid glare toward golfers and neighboring yards. Patio and pool areas can run as their own zone.

What does landscape lighting cost in Euless?

–

It depends on the property, so we do not quote a flat number. Fixture count, fixture material, transformer size, wire distance, hardscape crossings and the control system set the cost. After a site visit you get a written proposal with each of those factors spelled out, so you can trim or add scope with clear numbers in front of you.

What is the difference between low-voltage and line-voltage lighting?

–

Line voltage runs at full household current and needs conduit, deep trenching and an electrician for every change. Low voltage, usually around 12 volts, runs through a transformer, so cable can sit shallow and fixtures are easy to move as the landscape grows. For homes and most commercial grounds, low voltage is the practical choice.

Are brass or copper fixtures worth the extra cost?

–

In many spots, yes. Solid brass and copper hold up to heat, sprinklers and the odd bump from a mower, and they age into a natural patina instead of peeling. Aluminum fixtures cost less and work well in protected areas. We mix materials where it makes sense and explain the tradeoff.

Can I control the lights from my phone?

–

Yes, if you want it. Smart controllers let you set schedules, switch zones and adjust timing from an app. A simpler photocell or astronomical timer also works well and turns the lights on at dusk without any input. We recommend the control that fits how you live, not the most complicated one.

Can you fix or add to a system someone else installed?

–

Often, yes. We look at the existing transformer, wire and fixtures, test what works and point out what needs to change. Sometimes a few new fixtures and better aiming are enough. Other times an aging system is worth redesigning. Either way, you get a straight answer after we see it.

Can you light our business sign and entry?

–

Yes. Monument signs, entry walls, flagpoles and specimen trees are some of the most common commercial lighting requests. We plan the layout around visibility from the road, safe walkways and the hours your business needs the lights on, and we stay available for service after install.
