Included With a Lewisville Home Display

You approve the design. Everything after that, including every trip up the ladder, is handled by our residential lighting crews.

01

Custom layout

We sketch around your roof shape, porch and trees instead of selling a set package, whether the house is a decades-old ranch or a new Castle Hills two-story.

04

Mid-season fixes

A dark section or a tripped timer is handled with a service call, so nobody in the house has to climb up in December.

02

Lights on lease

We supply commercial-grade LED strands and cut them to your exact runs. When the season ends, they go back with us.

05

Removal after the holidays

Crews return after New Year's to take down the display, including the clips and every extension run.

03

Trees and beds

Front-yard live oaks, crape myrtles and foundation shrubs can be wrapped or netted to add depth below the roofline.

06

Off-site storage

We keep your labeled lights at our facility, so the garage holds the car instead of bins of tangled cords.

A Century of Lewisville Houses

Lewisville incorporated in 1925, but the city did most of its growing after the Corps of Engineers enlarged Lewisville Lake in the 1950s and Interstate 35E came through. Older subdivisions in the 75057 and 75067 areas lean toward one-story brick homes with long eaves and modest gables, while the streets around Vista Ridge Mall and newer pockets add two-story brick houses with stacked roof peaks. A ranch house wants one continuous line; a two-story looks right when the peaks are traced and the side runs stop at the corners.

Old Town is the exception. Around Richland, Herod and Charles streets, a handful of Folk Victorian and early 1900s houses still stand, several of them featured on past Old Town holiday home tours. Castle Hills, on the east side, is the other extreme: a master-planned community of more than 4,300 homes, including custom estates with tall entries and many roof planes. That range is why we start every Lewisville job with a tape measure rather than a package.

  • Long ranch eaves outlined in one clean line

  • Stacked gables traced on two-story brick homes

  • Porch posts and gingerbread lit in Old Town

  • Estate entries framed with garland and wreaths

  • Garage edges lit to frame the driveway

Reach out

Share your address and what you picture. Late-summer requests give you the most choice before the Old Town Holiday Stroll and Christmas parade in early December.

02

Site visit

We measure eaves, gables and trees, find your outlets and go over any HOA or gate requirements.

03

Design approval

You get a written plan and quote. Adjust it until it matches what you want lit this year.

04

Install and upkeep

Most houses are finished in one visit. If a strand fails before Christmas, call and we schedule the repair.

05

Takedown and storage

After the holidays we remove the display and store it, labeled for your house, until next season.

Lewisville Neighborhoods and Streets We Light

We install across Lewisville, from the lake side to the Carrollton line. Neighbors just across the border in Flower Mound's wooded subdivisions and Carrollton's established streets are covered too.

Castle Hills

Residents began moving into this roughly 2,900-acre community in 1998, and it now holds single-family homes, townhomes and estates around The Lakes at Castle Hills golf course. Many two-story homes face greenbelts or fairways, so we sometimes light the rear roofline as well as the street side.

Old Town residential streets

Richland, Herod and Charles streets hold some of the city's oldest houses, including Folk Victorian homes from the 1890s. Warm white on porch lines and gables respects the trim, and smaller houses need only a few runs to look finished.

Willowbrook

A newer pocket near Vista Ridge Mall that includes Pulte homes built around 2018 with open floor plans. Compact lots put the roofline close to the street, so a simple gable outline and lit garage edge make a strong impression without crowding.

Enchanted Hill

A guard-gated enclave of custom homes on oversized lots inside Castle Hills, ringed by the fairways of a Jay Morrish-designed course. Estate facades suit layered designs with garland on the entry, wreaths on upper windows and wrapped trees along the drive, and landscape lighting in Lewisville can keep that drive lit all year.

Lewisville Valley and Valley Vista

These established neighborhoods in southeast Lewisville sit between Vista Ridge Mall and the lake. Most houses are single-family homes on suburban lots, where a clean outline on the main roof, lit front shrubs and one wrapped tree fit the scale.

Lake Breezes and Castle Hills Rules

Lewisville sits on the south shore of Lewisville Lake, and north winds cross a lot of open water before they reach the first rooftops. Homes near the lake parks and on higher ground take the gusts first. We secure every run as it goes up, keep loose wire off the roof and check the display before we leave, so a windy night does not pull a gable line free.

Castle Hills is now part of the city, and its associations, like many in Lewisville, keep guidelines on placement, timing and appearance. Enchanted Hill adds a guard gate, so we arrange crew access before install day. If your street's entrance or a business you own needs lighting too, our Lewisville holiday lighting team handles that work under the same leased model.

  • Every run clipped and checked for wind

  • Gate access arranged ahead for gated sections

  • HOA timing and placement confirmed early

  • Timers set to your association's quiet hours

  • Storm damage handled with a service call

Cost Factors for Lewisville Homes

Your quote is built from the measurements we take at the design visit. These items matter most.

Length of lit roofline

Every foot of eave and gable you include adds product and install time, so a front-facing outline costs less than lighting every side.

Color and bulb choices

Warm white, cool white, multicolor or a mix of C9 and mini lights change how much product a design uses. Browse this season's lighting styles for ideas.

Two stories or one

Second-story peaks and steep roof planes in Castle Hills take more safety setup than a single-story eave in Old Town.

Accents

Wreaths, garland, bows, netted beds and pathway markers are added one at a time, so the design can grow in later years.

Tree work

Each wrapped trunk or canopy adds product and labor, and a mature live oak takes more of both than a young ornamental.

Questions From Lewisville Homeowners

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you install Christmas lights on homes in Lewisville?

–

Yes. We cover Lewisville ZIP codes 75056, 75057, 75067 and 75077. That includes Castle Hills and Enchanted Hill, Old Town, the neighborhoods around Vista Ridge and the streets near the lake.

Is leasing better than buying lights, and what about permanent lighting?

–

With a lease, we supply, maintain, remove and store the lights, and they are cut to your house. Buying means the storage, testing and replacement are yours. If you would rather never take lights down, permanent track lighting for Lewisville homes stays mounted and can be set for other holidays too.

How early should I schedule a Lewisville install?

–

Early fall is ideal. Installs typically begin in early November, and homeowners who want lights on by Thanksgiving or the Old Town Holiday Stroll should call by October so a date is still open.

When will you take the display down?

–

We schedule removal for early January, after the holidays end. The crew removes lights, clips and timers, and the product goes into labeled storage so next year's install matches this year's design.

Do Castle Hills and other Lewisville HOAs allow holiday lights?

–

Most allow them with conditions on dates, placement or appearance. Send us the guidelines and we design within them. If the association also wants its gates and medians lit, see our neighborhood association lighting service.

Will clips or ladders damage my roof or gutters?

–

We hang lights with clips sized for gutters and shingle edges, with no nails or staples in the shingles. Crews work from the roof only where the pitch allows it safely, and every clip comes off at takedown.

Where do the lights plug in, and who sets the timer?

–

We plug into your exterior outlets and set a timer so the lights come on each evening and go off at the hour you pick. If a garage or porch outlet is shared with other equipment, we plan the runs so the circuit is not overloaded.

Can you light the back of my house if it faces the golf course?

–

Yes. Many Castle Hills homes back to fairways or greenbelts, and a rear roofline outline lets golfers and neighbors on the trails see the display too. We plan it around any rules your association has for rear elevations.
