KENNEDALE, TEXAS

Residential Christmas Light Installation in Kennedale, TX

Kennedale homes often sit on bigger lots than their neighbors in Arlington or Fort Worth, so the yard matters as much as the roof. We design for both, hang leased LED, service it in December and take it away after the holidays.

A Kennedale Home Display Includes

Everything from the measuring tape to the storage shelf is handled for you.

01

Design for house and yard

On a half-acre lot we plan the roofline, the trees and the walk to the door together, so the whole property reads as one display.

04

In-season repair calls

If a run goes dark, we come back and fix it. No ladder, no extension-cord guesswork for you.

02

Commercial LED on lease

You use our lighting for the season. When it wears out, replacing it is our job, not yours.

05

Post-holiday removal

In early January the crew takes everything down, including clips, timers and stakes.

03

Custom-cut runs

Each strand is trimmed to the eave it hangs on, which keeps long single-story rooflines straight and tidy.

06

Kept until next season

Your display is stored at our shop and labeled for your address, so it is ready to go back up next fall.

Brick Ranches on Generous Lots

Kennedale was once known for its brickworks, and brick is still the face of most of its houses. The city covers just 6.6 square miles where I-20 meets US 287, about ten miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth, on low rolling hills. Much of the housing is single-story brick from the 1980s and 1990s: Shady Creek has homes from the mid-1980s on lots close to half an acre, and Steeplechase Estates has brick homes from the late 1990s on quarter-acre lots.

Newer sections followed in the 2000s, including Brookstone Estates and the gated Falcon Wood Estates, where stone ranch homes from around 2009 sit on lots of about half an acre. Long single-story rooflines are easy to light cleanly, but on a big lot the house can look small if the yard stays dark, so we usually pair the eave line with trees and a lit path.

  • Long brick eave lines run in one piece

  • Stone ranch fronts lit at the entry

  • Half-acre yards balanced with tree wraps

  • Circle drives and walks lined with ground lights

  • Hip roof corners finished cleanly

Our Kennedale Process

01

Start with a call

Tell us your Kennedale address and what you want lit. Calling by September keeps the most dates open.

02

Yard and roof walk

We measure eaves, pace off distances to trees and check outlets, then talk through colors and any HOA rules.

03

Install day

Installers put up the plan you signed off on and test every run before leaving. If your gates are unlocked, nobody needs to be home while they work.

04

Through December

Timers do the nightly work. If anything fails, one call to our office sets up a repair visit.

05

January takedown

We remove the display, pack it by address and store it until the next season.

Kennedale Neighborhoods We Light

Kennedale is small, but its subdivisions differ a lot in age and lot size. We also light homes in Arlington, just to the north and in Mansfield subdivisions just south of town.

Falcon Wood Estates

A gated enclave of stone ranch homes, many built around 2009, on lots near half an acre. We arrange gate access ahead of time and usually light the full front eave, the entry and the trees.

Steeplechase Estates

Single-story brick homes from the late 1990s in Kennedale ISD. A clean roofline, wrapped porch posts and one tree give these houses a complete look.

Oak Crest area (76140)

Acre-size lots with mature shade trees on Kennedale's Fort Worth ISD side. Big trunk wraps and a lit drive often matter more here than the roof.

Shady Creek

Homes from the mid-1980s with split floor plans and lots just under half an acre. Wide fronts and established landscaping suit a warm white eave line with lit beds.

Brookstone Estates

A 2000s subdivision with quarter-acre lots and newer brick fronts. Gables and garage edges carry the display, with optional wreaths on front windows.

Trees, Distance and Power on Larger Lots

Bigger lots bring longer distances. A tree forty feet from the house needs a power plan, not just a strand, and a long front walk may need its own circuit. During the design visit we find every exterior outlet, note which ones share a breaker and plan runs so the display stays reliable through a cold, wet December.

Some Kennedale property feels almost rural. In the Oak Crest area off Lindale Road, with a Fort Worth ISD school zone and the 76140 ZIP, acre-size lots carry many mature shade trees. Wrapping a few large trunks can do more for those homes than adding roofline. For yards that deserve light after the holidays, our Kennedale landscape lighting is a year-round option.

  • Outlets and breakers mapped at the visit

  • Long runs planned to distant trees

  • Mature trunks wrapped on acre lots

  • Walkways lit on their own circuit

  • Timers set for every zone

What Goes Into a Kennedale Quote

Measurements from your property set the quote. These factors carry the most weight.

Eave footage

Long single-story rooflines add up quickly. Lighting the front only, or the front and one side, keeps footage in check.

Roof height

Most Kennedale homes are single-story, which is quicker to install. Two-story sections or steep gables add crew time.

Distance across the yard

Trees and walks far from the house need longer runs and sometimes extra circuits, which adds product and time.

Extras

Wreaths, door garland, pathway markers and shrub nets are chosen piece by piece to fit your plans.

Tree count and size

One mature shade tree can take as much lighting as a whole roofline. Smaller ornamental trees take far less.

Kennedale Christmas Lighting FAQs

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you install Christmas lights on homes in Kennedale?

–

Yes. We light homes in both Kennedale ZIP codes, 76060 and 76140, from gated Falcon Wood Estates to acre lots in the 76140 part of town. For HOA entrances and shops near TownCenter, see our Kennedale holiday lighting for businesses and associations.

Do I have to buy the lights? What about permanent lighting?

–

No purchase is needed. The commercial-grade LED is leased for the season, and we maintain, remove and store it. If you prefer something that stays mounted all year, compare our permanent home lighting near Kennedale.

When should I get on the schedule?

–

Late summer or early fall is the right time to call. Installs generally start in early November, and big lots with many trees need a little more planning time, so earlier requests are easier to fit.

When do you remove the lights?

–

Generally in early January, after the holidays are over. We take down every strand, timer and stake, then store your display.

Do I need HOA approval in Kennedale?

–

Some Kennedale subdivisions have associations and others do not. If yours does, send the guidelines and we design to them. Our overview of HOA holiday lighting rules explains what associations commonly ask for.

Will the install harm my roof or gutters?

–

It should not. Shingles never get a nail or staple from us; clips hold the lights on gutters or under shingle edges and come off cleanly when we take the display down.

How are the lights powered and switched on?

–

They run from your exterior outlets on timers, so the display turns on by itself each evening. On larger lots we map outlets and circuits first so distant trees and walks stay lit.

Will the lights be up for Kennedale's Hometown Christmas?

–

The city's Hometown Christmas celebration is held at TownCenter Park, and many homeowners like their houses lit by then. Booking in late summer or early fall improves your odds of an early install date, though we cannot promise a specific day.
