A Keller Home Display, Fully Handled

We bring the lights, the ladders and the crew. You bring the hot cocoa.

01

Plan for your roofline

Marshall Ridge two-stories, Highland Oaks Tudors and Old Town cottages each get a layout that follows their own gables and porches.

04

December repairs

If a bulb or strand goes out, call during office hours and we schedule a crew to come fix it.

02

Commercial LED on lease

We supply professional-grade LED, cut it to your measurements and lease it for the season, so nothing ends up in your garage.

05

Removal after New Year's

Once the holidays end, usually in early January, we take down the display and remove every clip from gutters and shingles.

03

Trees along the trails

Keller lots often border greenbelts and creek trails, and the trees between your house and the path can be wrapped for people walking by.

06

Saved for next year

We label your strands and keep them in our storage, so the next season goes up from the same cut pieces.

Keller's Planned Communities and How They Light

Keller had fewer than 1,000 residents in 1960 and grew fastest between 1970 and 2000, and its housing follows a few clear patterns. Hidden Lakes, Keller's first large planned community, went up between about 1996 and 2010 and holds around 1,840 homes in nine villages on lots from roughly 0.15 to 0.5 acre. Highland Oaks, built mainly in the late 1990s and early 2000s, is known for brick and stone homes in French Provincial, Colonial Revival and Tudor styles under mature native trees. Marshall Ridge, built from about 2008 to 2020 in northwest Keller, has roughly 825 two-story homes of about 2,500 to 5,500 square feet.

Those styles light differently. French Provincial and Tudor homes have steep, narrow front gables and arched entries that look sharp when the peaks are traced and the door is framed in garland. The larger two-stories in Marshall Ridge often have a main ridge with stacked gables and a side-entry garage, so we outline the street-facing gables and wrap one tree for balance. Old Town Keller, platted in 1881 on the Texas and Pacific line, has older ranch homes and bungalows where one clean porch or eave line is all a house needs.

  • French Provincial and Tudor peaks traced

  • Arched entries framed with lit garland

  • Marshall Ridge gables outlined, side garages optional

  • Old Town porches lit with a single warm line

  • One wrapped tree to balance a tall facade

How a Keller Installation Comes Together

01

Home visit

We measure the roof and trees, look at outlets and ask whether your lot backs to a trail, golf course or greenbelt.

02

Design and proposal

You get a written plan. Add the rear patio, drop a tree or switch to warm white before we schedule.

03

Install

Our insured crew installs on the agreed date and tests every run before leaving.

04

Keep it glowing

Timers handle on and off each night. A weekday call to the office brings a repair visit if anything fails.

05

Removal and storage

After the holidays we remove the display, label it for your home and keep it until next season.

Keller Neighborhoods We Light

Keller's neighborhoods are tied together by trails and parks, but their houses are very different. If you are just across the city line, see our pages on Southlake estate lighting and holiday lights for North Richland Hills homes.

Hidden Lakes

About 1,840 homes in nine villages in southeast Keller, with pools, a clubhouse and gated Idlewood sections. Lots from roughly 0.15 to 0.5 acre mean some homes suit a full outline while larger ones focus on the front elevation and drive trees.

Highland Oaks

Central Keller homes from the late 1990s and early 2000s in French Provincial, Colonial Revival and Tudor styles. Mature native trees and steep gables suit warm white peaks, lit columns and wreaths on upper windows.

Chase Oaks and the Town Center area

Craftsman and ranch homes with roomy yards near Bear Creek Park and Keller Town Center. Wide yards leave space for lit shrubs and a tree or two along with the roofline. Owners who want path and tree lighting all year can see our Keller landscape lighting.

Marshall Ridge

Built from about 2008 to 2020 near Highway 377 and Highway 170, with a log-cabin-style lodge, ponds and trails. Two-story fronts with stacked gables give a strong outline, and the young street trees take simple trunk wraps.

Old Town Keller

Keller's original 1881 town site near Main Street mixes 1970s and 1980s ranch homes, updated bungalows and newer infill. One porch or eave line with a lit front tree fits these smaller lots and walkable streets.

Greenbelts, Golf Courses and HOA Guidelines

Keller has more than 26 miles of hike and bike trails, and many neighborhoods back to them. Bear Creek Trail runs past Hidden Lakes, and the 145-acre Bear Creek Park sits near Keller Town Center. Homes that back to a greenbelt or to Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club are seen from behind as much as from the street, so a lit back patio or rear roofline can be worth the extra feet. Marshall Ridge even hosts a holiday night hike along its trails, and Keller has run a residential holiday decorating contest.

Keller's planned communities come with HOAs, and several Hidden Lakes sections, including Idlewood Estates, Idlewood Green and Idlewood Oaks, are gated. Associations may set display dates or limit yard pieces. We review the guidelines and arrange gate access before install day, and boards can see our Keller HOA holiday lighting service for entrances and amenity centers.

  • Rear rooflines for greenbelt and golf views

  • Trees along trails wrapped for walkers

  • Gated Idlewood access arranged in advance

  • HOA dates and placement rules followed

  • Runs secured against open-field wind

What Shapes the Cost of a Keller Display

Your quote comes from your home's measurements and your wish list.

Footage of roofline

A front-only outline on a Marshall Ridge two-story is less than wrapping all four sides, and Old Town porches are shorter still.

Colors and bulbs

Warm white, cool white or multicolor, in C9 or mini styles, each change the strands we cut for your house.

Height and pitch

Steep French Provincial and Tudor roofs and tall two-story walls take more time and safety equipment than single-story eaves.

Extras

Wreaths, entry garland, lit walkway markers and patio pieces are listed individually so you can pick what fits.

Trees and back views

Wrapping mature trees or adding a rear roofline for a greenbelt view adds product and crew time.

Keller Residential Lighting Questions

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

Do you install Christmas lights on homes in Keller?

–

Yes. We light houses in Keller's 76248 and 76262 ZIP codes, from Hidden Lakes and Highland Oaks to Marshall Ridge and Old Town Keller. Our Keller Christmas lighting page covers the businesses and community spaces we light in town.

Is leasing better than buying, and do you offer permanent lights?

–

Leasing means you never buy, store or repair the product; we handle all of it each season. For a mounted track system that stays up all year and supports other holidays, see our permanent lights near Keller. Check with your HOA first, since some treat permanent fixtures differently from seasonal ones.

How far ahead should Keller homeowners book?

–

Aim for late summer or the first weeks of fall. Installations typically begin in early November, and the calendar fills in the order requests arrive. Larger Hidden Lakes and Marshall Ridge homes take longer to install, so earlier is better.

When do you remove the lights?

–

We take everything down after the holidays, generally during the first half of January. The display is labeled for your address and stored until next fall.

Will my Keller HOA approve the display?

–

Most Keller associations allow holiday lighting, though some set date windows or limit yard decorations, and gated sections need access arranged. Send us the guidelines and we will design within them. Our residential holiday lighting page explains every step of the service.

Could installation damage my shingles or gutters?

–

No nails or staples go into your roof, gutters or trim. The crew uses clips made for gutter lips, shingle edges and ridges, and those clips come off with the lights in January.

How is the display powered and timed?

–

Lights run from your exterior outlets on timers we set to your preferred hours. We spread the load across outlets so circuits do not trip, and we tell you ahead of time if an outlet needs repair.

Can you light the back of a house that faces a trail or golf course?

–

Yes. Rear rooflines, patio covers and trees along the property line can be added to the design. Homes in Hidden Lakes and Marshall Ridge that back to greenbelts or Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club often choose this so the display can be seen from both sides.
