HOA Holiday Lighting in Coppell, TX
Coppell boards rarely ask for a spectacle. They ask for a plan that fits what is already there: mature trees, an entry wall with the neighborhood name on it and, in several communities, a lake or a golf course along one side. Christmas Decor by Carruthers Decorative Lighting provides that plan and everything after it, including leased commercial-grade LED lighting, installation, maintenance during the season, removal and storage.
The process is built for volunteer boards and their managers. It starts with a site walk. A written proposal follows, with a design map that lists each location separately. On request, a certificate of insurance goes to the management company, since we carry liability insurance and workers' compensation. Installation is scheduled with the manager.
Our Coppell service is for association common areas and commercial property. Lighting for individual houses is not offered in Coppell.

Lakes, Golf Frontage and Front Walls: Reading a Coppell Community Before Lighting It
Water is the main feature of the Lakes of Coppell. The owners association describes lakes totaling 21.3 surface acres, with floating fountains positioned through them, and it holds community events at the Allen Road Park Pavilion. The association is managed by CMA Management. In a lake community the shoreline trees nearest an entrance or pavilion are the natural place for lighting, because the reflection doubles the effect and residents see it from both banks.
Golf frontage shapes the Riverchase side of the city. Riverchase Golf Club, an 18-hole public course on Riverchase Drive that opened in 1988, runs through the area, and Fairways at Riverchase sits near Sandy Lake Road and MacArthur Boulevard with many homes backing to the fairways. Entrances near major roads like these are seen mostly from passing cars, so a clean outline on the entry walls and wrapped trees at the corner read better than small details.
Coppell Greens shows a different pattern. The subdivision was established in 1999 and built out within a few years, with a mix of attached and single-family homes and an association that runs an architectural control committee. Communities with attached homes often have more shared frontage than a typical subdivision, and any small greens or mail areas the association maintains can be added to the design map as separate locations.
Many other Coppell neighborhoods have their own associations. Copperstone, the Peninsulas of Coppell, Riverchase and the Riverchase Townhouses are examples. For most of them the scope is modest: the entry walls and sign, the trees beside them and the front median where there is one. A board can approve that scope in one season or begin with the main entrance and phase in a second entrance later.
The city's holiday calendar sets the deadline. Coppell's Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting takes place in early December, with the parade on Parkway Boulevard and the tree lighting at Andrew Brown Park East. Boards that want the entrance lit before that evening should request a site walk by early fall. During the season, service calls are usually completed within 24 to 48 hours, and removal begins in early January.

Coppell HOA Holiday Lighting FAQs
Does your Coppell service include individual homes?
No. Homes are served only in Plano, Frisco, Allen and Richardson. In Coppell we light association common areas, commercial properties and business parks, car dealerships and city sites. If your neighborhood has an association, the board or manager can call 972-620-9560 to request a proposal for the entrance.
Our Coppell community has a lake. Can the shoreline be part of the display?
Often, yes. We light trees and structures along the bank where power is available and where crews and equipment can work safely. Lake communities usually start with the trees nearest an entrance or pavilion. The design map marks each shoreline location so the board can include or leave out any of them.
Our Coppell association uses a management company. Who do you work with?
Either or both. Most proposals go to the manager, who presents the written scope and design map to the board. We send the certificate of insurance to the management company on request and schedule installation with the manager. During the season a board member or the manager can call us directly.
Does the association have to store anything in January?
No. The lighting is leased and custom-cut to the community. Removal begins in early January, and everything returns to our climate-controlled storage facility. Nothing is left in a pool house, a garage or a board member's attic, and the same layout can be requested the following season.
