Southlake Events We Light
Large properties, active charities and a busy Town Square mean Southlake events often run big.
01
Ceremony to send-off
Couples in Southlake want photos that glow, not flash-washed faces. We light the ceremony backdrop, the reception space and the exit path as one design, then take it all down after.
04
Pavilions and covered spaces
Pergolas, pavilions and tent frames give us places to run string lines overhead. The result is a defined, glowing room under open sky, sized to your guest count.
02
Formal evenings
A gala should feel finished the moment guests step out of the car. We light the arrival, the cocktail area and the dinner space so the night reads as one polished event.
05
Grand openings
A new storefront, restaurant or office needs to be noticed from the road. Facade uplighting, lit trees and string lines over the entry draw attention on opening night and for photos.
03
Tree lighting
Wrapped trunks and lit canopies give outdoor events height and sparkle. Large oaks, courtyard trees and entry trees become focal points for photos and help guests orient after dark.
06
Parties at home
A big birthday, a graduation or a rehearsal dinner does not need a rented hall. We light patios, pools and yards for the night, and our crew takes the lights down afterward.

Lighting Each Moment of a Southlake Wedding
A wedding moves through three lighting moods. The ceremony needs soft, flattering light on the couple and the backdrop. The reception needs a warm overhead glow for dinner and dancing. Photo spots need light that gives the photographer something to work with after sunset.
We design all three as one plan, so the transition from vows to toasts happens without a crew scrambling in the background. Your coordinator gets a simple timeline showing when each area is ready.

04
Install and test
Our insured crew installs before guests arrive, tests every circuit and walks the layout with your planner or coordinator.
05
Teardown
At the agreed time we remove every strand, fixture and cord and leave the space ready for the venue staff.
Lighting Events Across Southlake
Southlake centers on Southlake Town Square along Southlake Boulevard, with Carroll ISD, large residential estates and parks like Bicentennial Park spread across the city.
Southlake Town Square
Shops, restaurants and the hotel at Town Square host openings, receptions and private events. Uplighting, lit entries and string lines over outdoor spaces suit the district, coordinated with property management. Install is scheduled around business hours so guests and shoppers are never stepping around ladders.
Carroll ISD community
Booster clubs, PTAs and school foundations host fundraisers and celebrations. Uplighting and lit gathering areas give these events polish, and we provide insurance certificates when needed. We scale each design to the event and the budget the organizing committee sets.
Residential estates
Large Southlake properties host weddings, rehearsal dinners and milestone parties under mature trees. Tree wraps, canopy lighting and string canopies over lawns and pools turn an estate into a venue. We protect lawns, beds and trees during install and teardown.
Bicentennial Park area
Community events near Southlake's main park need lit paths and gathering areas after dark. Organizers arrange city approval and we follow the rules on layout, power and timing. Lit paths to parking help families leave safely, and we remove everything once the grounds clear.
Estate Weddings and Tented Receptions
Southlake estates often host weddings with a tent on the lawn, a ceremony under the trees and a cocktail hour by the pool. Each space needs its own light, and they need to work together.
We coordinate with the tent provider and planner, run string lines along the tent frame, wrap and uplight the trees and light paths between spaces. Our parent company manages commercial landscapes, so we treat lawns and trees with care during install and teardown.

How We Price an Event
Your proposal lists each element, and these factors decide how big it becomes.
Venue access and anchors
Sites with ready anchor points, posts or tree limbs are faster to light. Open lawns may need poles or other supports, and strict mounting rules add planning time.
Footprint and guest count
More guests usually means more space to light: longer string runs, more uplights and wider walkways. We size the design to the footprint rather than to a fixed package.
Days on site
Some clients want lights up for one evening; others want them through a rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch. The number of days the lighting stays affects the scope.
Lighting types chosen
String canopies, uplighting, tree wraps and entry lighting each add materials and labor. Many events use two or three types; some use all of them across different spaces.
Power at the site
Where outlets are, how many circuits they feed and how far they sit from the lit areas all shape the layout. We confirm power during the site visit, not on event day.

Southlake Event Lighting FAQ
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Can you light a tented wedding at a Southlake estate?
–
Yes. We run string lines along the tent frame, uplight and wrap surrounding trees and light paths between spaces. We coordinate timing with your tent provider and planner so our crew installs after the tent is up and before tables are set.
Do you light events near Southlake Town Square?
–
We light openings, receptions and private events for businesses and organizers around Town Square, working with property management on mounting, power and timing. Certificates of insurance go to the property before setup. Setup is scheduled around business hours, and removal happens on the date you choose.
Do you work with our tent rental company?
–
Yes. We talk with the tent provider about install timing and what can be fastened to the frame. Our crew usually arrives after the tent is up and before tables and linens go in, then returns for teardown before the tent comes down.
Do you light indoor events too?
–
Yes. Uplighting along walls and columns, lit entries and warm accent lighting work well in ballrooms, halls, lobbies and event rooms. We follow each venue's rules on mounting and power, confirm load-in times in advance and clear out on schedule afterward.
Are your crews insured?
–
Yes. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation for every crew member who sets foot on your site, and certificates of insurance are available to your venue or property owner. Many venues will not let a vendor unload without one, so ask for it as soon as the date is confirmed.
Do we need to stay for teardown?
–
Usually not. Once the removal time is agreed with you and the venue, our crew handles it. Someone with access needs to let us in if the site is locked, but after that we take down every strand and fixture and leave the grounds tidy for the next morning.
Can you light the ceremony and the reception?
–
Yes. When both happen at one venue we light each space for its purpose: soft light for the ceremony, an overhead glow for dinner and dancing and accent lighting for photos. Separate locations take extra planning and crew time, so mention them early in the conversation.
Can lighting match our theme?
–
Yes. Uplight color, the tone of the string bulbs and how much of the space we light can all be tuned to a theme. That might mean soft warm white for a romantic reception or bold brand colors for a corporate launch, gala or grand opening.
Is there a minimum lead time for event lighting?
–
There is no fixed rule, but more notice gives you more options. A few months ahead is comfortable for weddings and large corporate events. For a smaller party on short notice, call the office anyway; if the crew calendar has room, we will make the site visit happen quickly.
