Out by Eagle Mountain Lake, a home is seen from the road, the dock and the water. PermaLites 365 permanent lighting makes every side look finished, every night of the year.
✓ Lake-home layouts ✓ Insured crew ✓ Seasonal and permanent

QUICK ANSWER
Permanent lighting in Azle is an LED track fixed along the roof edge, color-matched to your trim and controlled from the PermaLites 365 app. It handles Christmas, summer holidays on the lake and nightly accent light without seasonal installs. Christmas Decor by Carruthers Decorative Lighting plans and installs these systems for Azle homes and businesses on the west side of the Metroplex.

Ways Azle Owners Use Permanent Lights
Lake life and small-town traditions both get their own scenes.
01
December on demand
Pick a holiday preset and the roofline is ready the same evening. There are no bulbs to replace, no clips to buy and no cold weekend spent on the roof each November.
04
Nightly curb appeal
Plain white light along the eaves highlights the shape of the house after dark and runs on its own schedule all year, so the home always looks cared for from the street.
02
Lake-side evenings
A slow color fade across the back roofline turns a summer night on the dock into an event. Switch it to warm white when the guests head home and the boats come in.
05
Hornets game nights
Save an Azle Hornets scene for football season and playoff runs, then let the schedule handle Friday nights so the roofline is already lit when you pull in after the game.
03
Red, white and blue
Set a patriotic scene for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Veterans Day, and let the schedule handle the timing. It turns on at dusk and off whenever you choose.
06
Halloween glow
Orange and purple with a slow flicker for trick-or-treat night, then back to everyday white the following evening with a single tap. Kids on the street will notice it first.

Planning for the Street Side and the Water Side
On a lake home, the back of the house can matter as much as the front. Neighbors see it from the water, and you see it from the dock and the patio. We look at both views during the design visit.
That usually means two zones: one for the street elevation and one for the lake side. Each can run its own scene, or both can join for the Fourth and Christmas. The track is matched to your trim, so daylight views stay clean.

How an Azle Install Works
01
Talk through goals
Holiday color only, nightly accent light, team scenes, security white over the driveway, or all of it. Your answer shapes the design.
02
Draw the layout
You get a plan showing which lines we light, where the zones split and where the controller and power source will sit.
03
Written proposal
You receive a layout and proposal built from footage, roof height and controller needs, with each cost factor explained plainly.
04
Clean install
The track goes in along the roof edge and is tested run by run, with the controller placed where it is easy to reach.
05
Hand over the app
We load your first scenes, set a dusk schedule and show you how to change colors from your phone in seconds.
Azle and the Eagle Mountain Lake Area
Azle straddles Tarrant and Parker counties on the western edge of the Metroplex. The properties here range from lake houses to acreage to in-town streets.
Eagle Mountain Lake shoreline
Lake homes are seen from boats, docks and across coves, often more than from the road. We design the water-facing elevation as its own zone, so you can run a summer color scene out back while the street side stays classic white.
Country properties and acreage
Homes on larger lots outside the city center are seen from a distance and often have detached garages or shops. Each building can join the system as its own zone, with power checked during the site visit. Barns and shops can join the same app as the house.
Churches and community buildings
Congregations use permanent lighting for welcoming white light during evening services and seasonal color at Christmas and Easter. Certificates of insurance are available for boards and facility committees. We schedule site visits around services and events, and certificates of insurance are ready before work starts.
SH-199 businesses
Shops, restaurants and offices along the main highway through town depend on being noticed by evening traffic. Brand colors along the roofline and bright white over entries keep a business visible without a seasonal crew each fall. Storefront hours vary, so each zone gets its own timer.
In-town neighborhoods
Established streets closer to downtown Azle have single-story brick homes and long, simple eaves. A clean warm white line suits them well, and we check older trim for a straight, tight mount before installing. A single front zone is often enough for a smaller Azle home.
Seasonal Strands or a Permanent System?
A lake house roofline can be long, tall and awkward to reach, which makes hanging and removing seasonal strands every year a real chore. For homes, permanent lighting ends that cycle: one install, every holiday covered, nothing to store in the boathouse.
For Azle businesses, HOAs and churches, we also offer seasonal holiday lighting with custom design, leased commercial-grade LED product, in-season maintenance and removal. We help you pick the approach that fits the building.
Permanent: no ladders on tall lake elevations
Permanent: summer scenes as well as Christmas
Seasonal: custom displays for businesses and churches
Seasonal: removal and storage handled
One company for both options

What Shapes the Cost in Azle
Every quote is built from measurements, so here is what moves the number up or down.
How many feet of edge
We build every proposal from measured footage, never a guess. Lighting only the street-facing roofline keeps scope tight, while a full wraparound outline adds track, connections and crew hours.
Number of zones
Separate zones for the front, garage, back patio or outbuildings give you more control over scenes. Each added zone means more wiring and controller setup, so we plan only what you will use.
Stories and roof pitch
Two-story eaves and steep pitches take more setup, more safety equipment and more crew time than a single-story ranch with gentle slopes, so height shows up directly in the proposal.
Where power comes from
We check outlets and power during the site visit. When the nearest power is far from the roofline, routing it neatly and safely takes extra time, and we show you the options first.
Roofline shape
Long, straight eaves are efficient to light. Stepped rooflines, turrets and many small dormers take more fitting to keep the line of light clean and even, which adds time to the install.

Azle Permanent Lighting FAQ
Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.
Can the lake side and street side run different colors?
–
Yes. We wire them as separate zones. You might run a summer color fade on the water side for a party while the street side stays warm white, then join both for a single Christmas scene in December. Each side gets its own saved scenes.
Do you travel out to Azle?
–
Yes. We install permanent lighting across the western Metroplex, including Azle and the Eagle Mountain Lake area. Design visits are by appointment, and service calls on systems we install are handled by the same team. We group site visits so the drive never slows your project down.
Will the system be noticeable in daylight?
–
We choose a track color that blends with your trim and keep the mount close to the edge of the roof. In daylight it is subtle and tidy, which is one of the main reasons owners pick permanent lighting over seasonal clips and strands.
Can I control the lights from my phone?
–
Yes. The PermaLites 365 app lets you pick any color, run effects such as chase or twinkle, save presets and set schedules. We set up the app and program your first scenes before the crew leaves, so you start with a working system on night one.
Is a tall roof a problem?
–
No. We plan equipment for height and pitch during the site visit. The crew is insured with liability and workers' compensation coverage, and certificates of insurance are available if your HOA, builder or property manager asks for one before work begins.
Can I add more runs later?
–
Yes. Many owners start with the front elevation and add sides, a back patio or a detached garage later. If you mention that during the first visit, we lay out phase one so additions tie in cleanly and the controller has room to grow.
Who do I call if something needs attention?
–
Call us directly at 972-620-9560. We handle service calls on the systems we install, and because we keep your layout and zone plan on file, our crew already knows the property, the controller location and the zone layout before they arrive.
Should I choose permanent or seasonal lighting?
–
Choose permanent if you want color all year and never want to schedule installs again. Choose seasonal if you want a larger December-only display with wreaths and trees. Because we install both, we can recommend either one honestly after seeing the property.
Do I get a design before the install?
–
Every project starts with a site visit and a written layout. You review the runs, zones, controller location and track color before anything is scheduled, and we adjust the plan until it matches what you have in mind. Only then do we put the install on the calendar.
