Every Celebration, One Carrollton Roofline

Carrollton's neighborhoods celebrate a wide calendar of holidays, and the app keeps up.

01

December on demand

Pick a holiday preset and the roofline is ready the same evening. There are no bulbs to replace, no clips to buy and no cold weekend spent on the roof each November.

04

Summer holidays

Fourth of July color, Memorial Day white and blue, and Labor Day cookouts all live in the app as saved presets you can run for a single night or a full week.

02

Lunar New Year and Diwali

Red and gold for Lunar New Year, warm gold for Diwali, each saved as its own scene and scheduled for the right dates without anyone climbing a ladder in January or October.

05

Downtown square storefronts

Shops and restaurants around the historic square can outline their buildings, switch to event colors for festival weekends and keep a warm glow for evening diners year-round.

03

Everyday accent light

A soft warm white outline on a dusk timer makes the home look finished every night of the year, not only in December. It shows off the architecture after the sun goes down.

06

Brand colors for business

Restaurants, retail and offices can run brand colors every night and switch to a holiday or event scene without a crew visit. The building stays recognizable from the road after dark.

Close to Home, Quick to Respond

Our office at 11593 Goodnight Lane sits just south of Carrollton, so design visits fit easily into a weekday and service calls are a short drive. That proximity matters when you want someone who knows your property.

On the install itself, we measure every roofline, match the track to the trim and plan runs that follow the architecture. Older homes near downtown, newer two-story builds in the north and flat-roofed commercial buildings each get their own approach.

  • Office minutes away in northwest Dallas

  • Weekday design visits by appointment

  • Track matched to trim or facade

  • Layouts for homes, shops and offices

  • Service calls on systems we install

Our Five-Step Process

01

Request a visit

Call the office at 972-620-9560, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and we set a time to see the Carrollton property.

02

Measure and photograph

We record every eave, peak and gable, plus trim color and the nearest power, so nothing is guessed on install day.

03

Match the track

We pick a track color that blends with your fascia or trim, so the system stays low-key in daylight hours.

04

Installation day

The crew fits color-matched track tight to the trim, routes wiring neatly and checks each zone section by section.

05

Learn the app

Before the crew leaves, you save presets, set a dusk-to-late schedule and try a few colors with us standing beside you.

Carrollton Areas We Light

Carrollton spans parts of Dallas, Denton and Collin counties, so its housing and businesses vary a lot from south to north.

Downtown Carrollton

The historic square and the DART station area mix older storefronts, restaurants and newer townhomes. Permanent lighting suits both: brand and event colors on commercial buildings, warm white outlines on homes, all scheduled from an app. Nearby rooftops along the square can share one coordinated scene.

Bush Turnpike and Trinity Mills

Offices, retail and distribution buildings near the turnpike and Trinity Mills Road can use permanent lighting for entries, parking-side facades and seasonal color that runs on a fixed schedule every night. Office parks here often light only entries and the main facade to keep the look restrained.

North Carrollton

Newer two-story homes toward the Denton County side often have steeper pitches and HOA review. We provide the system description and track color for your request, and our crew is insured for the height. Larger two-story homes here often split the front and garage into zones.

I-35E corridor

Businesses along the interstate are seen by heavy evening traffic. A lit roofline in brand colors makes a building recognizable at speed, and holiday scenes come out in December without a seasonal crew or lift rental. Brand colors are programmed on installation day, ready that night.

Neighborhoods along Josey Lane

Established single-family streets with brick homes, mature trees and long eaves. We plan around the canopy and check older trim so the track sits straight and the outline reads from the street. Most of these homes need one or two zones and a short, tidy run to the controller.

Permanent or Seasonal? Here's the Honest Comparison

Seasonal holiday lighting, which we install for Carrollton businesses, HOAs and dealerships, is designed for the property, installed with leased commercial-grade LED product, serviced through the season and then removed and stored. It is ideal when you want a big December look without owning equipment.

Permanent lighting is a single install you own and use all year. For homes, and for businesses that want brand color nightly, it usually makes more sense. We sell both, so we compare them honestly.

  • Seasonal: December displays with no owned equipment

  • Seasonal: removal and storage included

  • Permanent: brand or accent color every night

  • Permanent: no yearly install visits

  • Both installed by our local crew

What Goes Into Your Carrollton Quote

Your proposal reflects the property itself, and these details matter most.

How many feet of edge

We build every proposal from measured footage, never a guess. Lighting only the street-facing roofline keeps scope tight, while a full wraparound outline adds track, connections and crew hours.

Power source location

When an outlet sits close to where the controller should go, the install stays simple. Longer power runs, or a property where power has to be routed to the roofline, add work and materials.

Peaks, gables and dormers

Every change in direction adds cuts, corners and connections. A simple hip roof with long straight eaves runs much quicker than a facade full of stacked gables, turrets and small dormers.

Site conditions

Narrow side yards, pools, steep grades and heavy landscaping all affect access and how quickly the crew can work. We walk the full perimeter so nothing surprises anyone on install day.

Zones and controllers

One zone is the simplest system. Splitting the home so different sides can run different scenes takes more planning and hardware, and we explain the tradeoff before you decide.

Carrollton Permanent Lighting FAQ

Have a question we didn’t cover? Call 972-620-9560 or request a free quote online.

How quickly can you get to a Carrollton property?

–

Carrollton is a short drive from our Goodnight Lane office, so design visits are easy to schedule during weekday office hours, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Service calls on systems we install are handled by the same nearby team.

Can I schedule scenes for Lunar New Year, Diwali or Eid?

–

Yes. Any color combination can be saved as a scene and scheduled for specific dates. Many families keep a calendar of presets for the holidays they celebrate, so the roofline changes on its own throughout the year. Dates can be updated each year in the app.

How is PermaLites 365 different from regular Christmas lights?

–

Regular strands go up in the fall and come down in January, and they need testing, clips and storage every year. PermaLites 365 is a fixed LED track that stays on the house, blends with the trim by day and changes color from an app whenever you want.

Can you see the track during the day?

–

The track is color-matched to your fascia or trim and mounted tight to the roof edge, so from the street it reads as part of the trim. Most neighbors only notice the system when the lights are on, which is exactly the point.

Will my homeowners association allow it?

–

Rules vary by association, so check your guidelines first. Because the track is low profile and color-matched to the trim, it is a modest exterior change, and we can provide the system details and track color your HOA asks for.

Do I need new electrical work?

–

The controller needs a power source near where it mounts, often in the garage or by an exterior outlet. We check power during the site visit. If the nearest outlet is far from the ideal controller location, we explain the options before you commit.

Can I start small and expand?

–

Starting with the street-facing roofline is common and sensible. We plan the controller and zones so the back of the house, a patio cover or an outbuilding can be added in a later visit without redoing the first phase. Many owners add a second zone within a year or two.

Do you install on two-story and steep roofs?

–

Yes. Tall and steep rooflines are a regular part of our commercial and large residential work. Our crew is insured with liability coverage and workers' compensation, and we plan the right equipment for each roof during the site visit. Height changes the plan, not the result.

Do I get a design before the install?

–

Every project starts with a site visit and a written layout. You review the runs, zones, controller location and track color before anything is scheduled, and we adjust the plan until it matches what you have in mind. Only then do we put the install on the calendar.
